Describe your approach to leadership.

Break down what leading a team means to you, from assembling a team to motivating them and ensuring all deadlines are met. Stay positive, and share your philosophy in a way you feel will complement what you've learned about the company. When possible, incorporate the company's keywords and core values in your answer.

"When recruiting talent, I look for someone with tenacity and strong communication skills. So much of my leadership style revolves around enhancing the functionality of a team through high-level communication. I don't micromanage, but I frequently check in with my team. I ask individual team members what they're working on. This allows them to share their progress and accomplishments. I deliver positive feedback and offer guidance when I see growth opportunities. I like to think of my leadership style as proactive rather than reactive."

Offer examples of the individuals you model your leadership style after. This will give the interviewer a tangible comparison to draw from.
