During the interview, the interviewer may ask a question that allows you to share something personal. This could include a unique hobby, personal achievement, volunteer experience, or fun fact not mentioned on your resume. The goal is to gain insight into your personality and character. Additionally, this question provides an opportunity for you to demonstrate your communication skills and confidence in sharing personal information.

"One thing that may not be immediately apparent from my resume is my passion for collecting vintage records. I find it enjoyable to search through thrift stores and flea markets in search of hidden treasures from past decades. There's a unique charm to the sound of vinyl and the artwork of old album covers. This hobby is a fun way to unwind and explore my creative side outside of work."

"I must admit that I have a personal interest in gardening. It's a hobby that I enjoy and find very fulfilling. There is something very satisfying about getting my hands dirty, nurturing plants, and watching them grow. It provides a nice balance to the technological world I usually operate in as an MRI Technologist."

"Something you will not find on my resume is that I enjoy hiking and immersing myself in nature. It's a great way to disconnect from technology and recharge my batteries. Whenever I have the opportunity, I enjoy exploring new trails and taking in all the natural beauty surrounding me. In addition, I have volunteered with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America for the past five years and have introduced my little sister to the world of mountaineering. It is so inspiring to see the younger generation take an interest in the outdoors."

Sure with joy. I enjoy making friends and can't stand seeing people suffer especially kids. I was also a philanthropist for the entire 2019, I barely took my salary but gave almost all to charity. It helped some kids in Africa to return back to school while some widows started a petite business.

Wow! How did you decide which charities to donate to? Which causes are closest to your heart and why? And, most importantly, how does this part of you tie into your career? Talk more about how you like to help people in all aspects of your life. Excellent job!

I was a radiology transport here at HF from 1992 -1994 and that’s when I discovered MRI. I began the rad tech program in 1995.

Consider talking about some aspects of yourself that don't include dates and jobs. For instance, what are you really passionate about? What are some of your hobbies outside of work? What about your line of work really excites you? It's great if you can connect your answer to the role, but more importantly, help the interviewer get to know who you really are and what makes you tick. This will make your answer (and hence, the interview) really stand out compared to the others.
Prepare for technical scenarios and patient interaction questions that radiology managers expect.
