How do you fill your downtime during a shift?
During downtime, MRI techs typically use the opportunity to catch up on paperwork and administrative tasks, sanitize and clean equipment, and ensure that everything is ready for the next patient. Some may even take the chance to grab a quick snack or stretch their legs with a short walk. Downtime is an excellent opportunity for MRI techs to recharge and prepare for the next round of patients.

From experience, during downtimes, I take it as a time to help the team by checking on whoever needs help. I also maximize the time to read from books on the shelf or teach a student tech.
