In addition, high-field MRI machines produce clearer images, while low-field MRI machines are less powerful but still effective for certain types of scans. Lastly, portable MRI machines can be brought directly to the patient, such as in emergency or military situations. The specific type of MRI equipment utilized depends on the patient's needs and the purpose of the scan, as each type has its advantages and disadvantages.
