Question 18 of 30

Where do you see yourself in five years?

"As I work on my degree in Business, I believe experience at Target at any level would prepare me for success in my future. I really appreciate the way that Target has always run their business, and I'm inspired by the different ways I could put what I'm learning in the classroom into action as a member of the Target team. In five years, once my degree is completed, I'm hopeful that I will have proved myself to be a hard, dedicated worker who wants to learn -- and that I'll be prepared to move up in the company."

      2nd Answer Example

"I've spent the last couple of decades as a stay-at-home-mom, and I would be so thrilled to rejoin the workforce as a team-member at Target. Wrangling kids and their various, complicated schedules has really honed my organizational skills, which I believe sets me up for success in the retail world. In five years, I would love to be in some kind of leadership role. I love managing people, discovering what they're best at, and setting them up for success as well -- that's probably the mom in me! I hope to prove my merits as a leader at Target so that in five years, I've proven I can handle the responsibilities of being a team leader or a manager."
