  • 22. How often are you late for your responsibilities, such as school or work?

      How to Answer

When you're a member of a team at Target, promptness is important -- your team-members are relying on you to be on time and ready to start work. It's always better to be a few minutes early for a shift so you can be ready to pick up where another team-member left off as their shift ends. Make sure the interviewer knows that you plan for traffic, bad weather, and any other situations that would make you late for your shift.

      2nd Answer Example

"Example: "I used to work with someone who was always, always late for their shift, and it was very frustrating! Since then, I'm meticulous about being on-time -- I want to make sure I'm being a good team-member and supporting my coworkers! Everyone has other places to be after work, so I want to make sure my other team-members can make it where they're going on time after their shifts."
