"I am a huge proponent of professional development and continuing education. We have to stay current in our industry in order to keep up with the fast pace of change and innovation. Our company recently offered the Sandler Sales program to anyone in the company who was interested. I took this workshop and really enjoyed it - plus, my sales increased by 23 percent that year."

I believe that we should never stop learning. That's why I completed a business management course. Before I graduated, I knew I was going to look for an actuarial position. However, things didn't really go as planned. I had some visa complications that took me out of the workforce for a few months. I am aware that working in the insurance industry would require me to have a good knowledge of health and well-being. During these past months, I took some courses related to psychology and health. It has improved my perspective on analyzing data, and I believe it would help me maintain a balanced approach to risk when I'm working for TAL.

Rachelle's Feedback
It seems you learned a lot from this business course as you sound highly confident in your abilities and ready to succeed in your career. Your interviewer should appreciate that you took your visa-related setback and used the situation as an opportunity to grow your knowledge and strengths. Fantastic work!
