Often we will leave the tasks that we don't like for last in the act of procrastination. Other times, we will mindfully move a particular responsibility for last because we feel that it makes the most sense. Help the interviewer to determine which personality type you are by answering this question.

"If given a choice, I would leave my documentation tasks for last. I say this because I like to spend my time selling and hitting targets; that's the most energizing and satisfying to me, so completing tasks related to documentation during business hours often feels like a distraction from business development. I do understand the importance of appropriate documentation; I just prefer to save it for after the workday."

When I have a lot of things to do, I will create an urgent, important matrix. I find it a very effective tool for me to prioritize my to-do list. I would start with the most urgent and important matters and leave the non-urgent and non-important for the last. In cases where I have a lot of urgent and important things to do, I would pick the most difficult one on the list first to give me a confidence boost to finish the rest and save the easier task for last.

Rachelle's Feedback
It's great that you are so well organized! However, this answer does not seem to address the question directly. For this question, the interviewer would like insight into which task you would leave for last if you could choose. Perhaps it's the task you enjoy the least, one you procrastinate on. Maybe it's your favorite task, and you love to finish your day on a high note. For example, some people might leave their documentation for last since it's tedious and slows them down from their other tasks. Others might leave their client calls for last because they enjoy the energy that comes from chatting with their clients at the end of the day.
