Strong communication skills are required to be an effective leader. How have your communication skills helped your team in the past, and how will they help the team at TAL?

"There's a lot of great research available showing that teams that communicate well are able to complete projects in a quicker and more efficient way than those who don't communicate well. They also are more accurate in their work. This is the kind of teamwork I try to encourage among my colleagues - I believe in regular touch-base appointments - both for the whole team and for individual members - plus regular written communication that can be archived and accessed at a later date for clarity."

For my final assessment at school, I had to deliver a team presentation. My team was very diverse. In the beginning, it was really hard for everybody to be on the same page. I always believe communication skills include great listening skills. I invited everybody to share their point of view about the topic and what they wish to achieve. I listed the answers on a whiteboard, so everybody could see each other's thoughts. Everybody liked the method, so we used a whiteboard for each brainstorming session. After months of hard work, our presentation was graded as the best.

Rachelle's Feedback
This is a terrific approach for collaboration and brainstorming. Including your 9/10 score is a perfect addition to your answer, further solidifying your success. One small tweak - it would be helpful to include the # of people in your team. This will give the interviewer a fuller picture of how many people you worked alongside in this instance.
