      How to Answer

The position you are applying for will likely mean that you must persuade a client to purchase something; either a car or additional services. Talk to the hiring manager about why you think this is important. This is a time when you can share some of the ways that you have convinced a customer to see that the product you wanted them to purchase was worth them spending their hard-earned money on.

      2nd Answer Example

"Selling involves the art of persuasion. I try to help my clients perceive their needs and understand how the product I am offering will help fill their needs. Whether using a particular close or highlighting the product's features, I think that value is significant. If a customer does not see the value in something, they usually will not make a purchase."
