Even though it may seem like a dream job, the interviewer wants to know that you have realistic expectations of the role and that you will not be blindsided if problems or challenges arise. Keep your answer simple. It is okay to ask for clarification on the position if you do not fully understand what challenges are in store for you.

"I think the greatest challenge in this role will be learning the proper operation of the equipment. Another challenge will be the physical aspect of the position as I will be required to stand and walk around most of the day. I will pay keen attention to training and ask questions along the way. In regards to the physical component, I will get used to the additional activity after just a couple of days, I'm sure."

"I think the added responsibility of running one of the highest volume departments in the hospital will be an adjustment, but it's a welcome challenge. I am looking forward to tackling it head-on and growing through the challenges because I know on the other side of those challenges, of that responsibility, are the biggest opportunities."

I think the biggest challenge will be to learn the proper operation of the equipment and being responsible for the whole team. However, with proper training, diligent studying, and asking questions along the way, I know I can overcome this challenge. I believe the greater the responsibility, the greater the opportunity.

My greatest challenge in the CSS role would be computer work. I will be willing to put in the hours to get it done. I will need to get familiar with the necessary systems to perform well at my new role. This will allow me to grow as an employee.

Rachelle's Feedback
Can you be more specific on which systems you feel you would need to spend the most time learning? It would be helpful if you wrapped your answer up by describing the action steps you would take to learn these systems quickly.

I think the biggest challenge will be learning something completely new. As I am excited to further my education, gain new skills and experiences and become competent as a dialysis nurse. Along the way, I will need to be vulnerable, take criticism and ask plenty of questions as I feel this is how I will succeed as a Nurse.

Stephanie's Feedback
This is a great start, but I suggest naming a specific actionable step (or two) that you'll take in order to overcome the challenges that you'll face.

Awesome! It's true that running a facility will no doubt be challenging. Can you be more specific about the ways this will challenge you? Some common obstacles might include controlling costs, coordinating teams, maintaining equipment, time management, and handling failures. Can you talk more about how you will tackle these difficulties? Great job!
