The interviewers at Adyen would like to know where your interest piques so they can potentially place you in an area that best suits your strengths and interests. Discuss with the interviewers one of your recent projects that particularly piqued your interest and what you learned from it. For example, you could mention one of the most exciting projects you worked on this year was creating a mobile app for a non-profit organization that helps underprivileged children. Then, describe how the app was designed to provide educational resources and connect children with mentors. Explain how you learned the importance of creating with the user in mind and the impact technology can have on improving access to education. This is just an example of what the interviewer is looking for in your response.

"In my previous role, we worked on various projects with fingerprint recognition software. One of the most interesting projects was a fingerprint-based ATM system. It was a test project for a large banking institution. In addition to learning a great deal about fingerprint recognition, I was also able to learn a lot about the critical relationship between software and security."

"I find the majority of the projects that I have been working on this past year to be very interesting. If I had to choose one, I would choose the work I saw in a merchant payment application. Since I am still in my internship, I didn't have any major contributions; however, I learned a lot about on-demand apps and building a friendly user interface. I am excited for this opportunity to gain more hands-on experience and be part of a collaborative team."

The most interesting project was when I worked with a team member on developing a tool for automating customer profile creation. It was a great experience, as it combined data science and software development. It taught me that code, especially in a company, should be well documented and reusable. It's important to work in a way that would allow for someone new to continue your work.

Very well delivered response! You are clear, concise, and make it very simple for an interviewer to draw the connection between your experience and their needs.

I worked on an app that enables students to fund their studies via self-funding and third-party funding (e.g. employer, student loans). The app also includes back-end processes. The ones that I worked on include a process for staffers to review third-party funding and integrations to external student loan companies. I was able to gain more experience with payments and system integrations.

This project sounds very interesting! I suggest that you further outline the project's details, your specific tasks/actions, and the results you achieved. Then, connect what you accomplished in this project to the positive results you will deliver to Adyen when they hire you.
