It is not uncommon in an interview to encounter questions that could seem open to interpretation. This helps differentiate candidates who make decisions based on assumptions from those who ask more questions or go above and beyond in addressing every option. This question could be interpreted as being willing to travel or relocate for work, or it could simply be asking how effective you are at working in a cross-functional environment in a remote setting.
What holds value here is having a thorough understanding of the expectations of the role, and the foundations the company is built upon. You need to showcase your work ethic through how prepared you are while exuding confidence and communicating clearly. The last thing you want is to come across as being taken off guard by any interview question. When confused or concentrating, we tend to furrow our brow or redirect our gaze. Yet, you need to consider the many ways such facial expressions, gestures, or other nonverbal cues could be interpreted. The body language and facial expressions you want to maintain are relaxed and confident. So practice relaxing your brow and widen your eyes. Tilt your head slightly and nod slowly. Speak softly and with ease.

HireVue assesses data points in each recorded video to identify the top performers and those who will be most suited to the company's goals and culture. There are several HireVue package options HireVue offers. Companies that have a high volume talent pool may opt-in for candidate screening, and only those candidates who receive the assessment model rating of being a top performer are passed on. Some request only the recorded videos and not the candidate's insights reports, while others request the report as well. Once the hiring authority receives the materials, they can view the interviews side by side for further comparison and evaluation. There is no way for a candidate to know in advance which of HireVue's products and services a company has signed up for.
"Your answers are recorded for a representative at their company to evaluate. Because HireVue is not directly involved in the hiring process, the company you applied to will follow up with you about their hiring decision or any next steps after you complete your interview." So, you aim to deliver an interview which the algorithm will forward to the recruiter. It's ultimately up to the recruiter whether they take the algorithm's recommendations or not.

"I am friendly, amicable, and enjoy talking to and meeting new people, regardless of where they are in the company. I kind of find it fun and fascinating, to talk to people in different departments and locations. In my current position, I traveled a bit for work, and transferred to another location once when the opportunity was right for my career advancement, and would have no issues doing so again."

HireVue defines Adaptability as "the ability to shift or change opinions, actions, or behaviors when faced with multiple demands, shifting priorities, rapid change, or ambiguity." They classify a novice as someone who reacts negatively to change and is concerned about the extra effort they will have to put forth to adjust to that change as a novice. Whereas someone with an intermediate skill level is initially reluctant to accept change but can internalize the change. They understand the change is needed as a part of the job requirement and adjust their behavior within a reasonable timeframe to meet the demands of a moderate to difficult change and require minimal guidance. Whereas an expert views change as a challenge and an opportunity to advance toward mutual goals, possesses a positive attitude, shares their vision, inspires others, is a role model, and quickly modifies their plans accordingly.
