"A time that I have done more than what was expected of me was, I have a hard time saying no, especially when I see fellow colleagues who are in need of help and support to complete work tasks. During the peak of covid-19 when it began in 2020 a lot of members had been out of work. I reached out to operations and the other HIM departments and I offered to take on more tasks. There was beginning to be a backlog and I did not want fellow colleagues to come back and feel overwhelmed from recovering from being sick. I organized my workload, completed my tasks first, and then took on the tasks of two other members. I organized my time and split up the tasks - in the end, I did enough to support the workflow of the department and the impact was minimal of staff not being able to be onsight."
