"I received feedback from my manager that because I was pushing for so many new ideas, it seemed like I knew more than everybody else- especially some of the staff who had been here for many years. I took this feedback and decided to include others on my team in shaping some of the new ideas I had before bringing them up in the team meeting. This approach really helped to get their buy-in."

After receiving constructive feedback, I knew first that was nothing personal. This was only for the purpose of my professional career and what areas I need to improve on. After hearing this - I thanked my supervisor for the feedback and I knew I needed to improve on these areas, I asked my supervisor if there were any tips they can provide. I did this because I want to know moving forward what will be the expectations of me exactly and I think this will help me to improve from the feedback. I made a list of the feedback as well just so I can go back and read it- which helps me understand more of what I need to work on.
