Give me an example that demonstrates your attention to detail.

When you give an example in an interview, its best to keep it relevant. And when we say relevant, we mean that you give examples that relate back to the industry or role you are interviewing for. In the finance industry, attention to detail is absolutely key! In previous roles, you have most likely had to double check your work, whether it be proofing an email or going over the floors of a restaurant with one last sweep. Even if you haven't worked in this industry before, you can use examples like these to show you have an eye for detail and the integrity to take pride in your work. If you have experience handling money, talk about how you double checked the cash drawer to make sure the balance was correct or how you noticed a customer didn't pay enough and what you did to handle the situation. Stay relevant!
