To many employers, the number of years of experience is flexible as long as you have the results to show for the years that you do have. Talk to the interviewer about your major career successes, strengths, and wisdom gained from your five years as a claims adjuster. This is the time to sell yourself. I believe that my previous experience being exposed to workers' compensation would amount to a great deal. Along with my completion of the pre-licensing course, completing the State Exam & obtaining my license would make a big impact for State Farm & this will allow me to begin focusing on this role immediately so that I can make a difference right out of training.

Other helpful pieces of information would include words from previous performance reviews and tangible results from past roles (achievements, accolades, KPI's, etc.).
