"The most rewarding teamwork experience that I have had was in my last year of university. We were assigned a project in teams of 4 which accounted for quite a large part of our grade. I believe everyone pulled more than their weight because so much was at stake. Teamwork is very rewarding when everyone has something to win, or lose."

"I almost always find working in a team environment to be very rewarding; however, one of the most notable experiences came from my most recent position. We had a team of sales, marketers, and design professionals who collaborated to create a new brand strategy for the company. I learned a lot and had a great time in the process."

During my employment with The Reynolds and Reynolds Company, I was responsible for multiple tasks on different teams, including software sales, installation, and training. I was one of 3 employees throughout the nation that were trained to work on our cross-functional teams, as needed. In Dallas, TX, we had a record number of software sales that needed to be installed with our hardware, and then train the users. This had to be completed in 5 days, and as a team, we worked long hours to accomplish our goal of completing all the required installs and training on time.
Our sales team was made up of employees that had great personalities and even better work ethics. When someone needed assistance with completing a task, I would always step in and help. This good and rewarding feeling was contagious for us all, and I and others replicated it throughout teams and our company.

Excellent! You've successfully used the STAR method here to explain the situation/task, your action, and what the end result was. The interviewer will appreciate that you were one of only three people who were cross-trained and that you worked so hard alongside your team to help both the company and its customers. Great reply!

My favorite thing about working as a team on a big project is when you finally get far enough all of the pre-work details we spent hours setting up start falling into place and everyone doing their piece of the puzzle begins to feather in like a beautiful painting. For example, launching the service under my portfolio in Europe was a huge undertaking involving many different teams at the USA facility and the Austrian site. When it was close to launch time and the systems we worked so hard on creating began functioning as we intended, it was beautiful. Of course, some things still needed to be tweaked as they will when a new manufacturing site launches, it was still a great experience and the team and I still keep in touch today.
