With the organization challenging employees to become better each and every day, GE Healthcare is committed to continuous improvement. When broken down on a day to day basis, improving daily can come from baby steps to improvement. But for this question, your interviewer will be looking to hear about something major that you did to help improve yourself in your work. Whether it was attending a class, a training or some other method, make sure that it applies to the work that you do and that it shows initiative on your part to seek self-improvement in the work that you perform.

"Last year, I pursued my Director about further training in JavaScript. My programming team is very diverse and to better utilize my skills as part of the larger team on more projects, I knew that further training in JavaScript would make me more versatile. My Director approved me attending an in-person seminar and training on the program and it was very beneficial. Because of the wide variety of directions that programmers can take in our jobs, I'm always open to further training to help broaden my skills and what I can do for GE Healthcare."

"I really think it is important for every person to strive to be better each and every day in their career and I do this in many ways. I am an active member of the American Marketing Association and reading their publications helps me learn and grow more in the field of marketing. A couple of years ago, I attended the association's Digital Marketing Bootcamp and it was a great experience and learning opportunity for me to gain further insight into the potential to tap into in the digital world. If hired at GE Healthcare, I would welcome any opportunities to further learn and specialize in the areas of marketing that you feel are important and beneficial."
