An inclusive work environment is highly promoted here at GE Healthcare. How do you promote this type of environment on the job?

"Having been born and raised in a very rural part of the United States, I really wasn't exposed to a diverse and inclusive environment until I attended college and then began doing my internships in engineering. Once I got the chance to experience working side by side with people from other parts of the world, I truly experienced the importance of inclusivity in the workplace. Now, I promote an inclusive environment by being a part of the hiring and interviewing panels for open positions and represent the diversity committee on these panels. Within my current team, I embrace all of our different backgrounds, experiences and educations to help make the success of our projects much better."
