"For me, respect in the workplace starts with treating my coworkers with kindness and courtesy. In the finance world, we often have to deliver hard news to people and work with them at their worst and my ability to focus on a courteous approach and being polite is essential to being respectful and getting a respectful treatment back from others. I also strive to put my self in the shoes of others that I work with to help me bring a sense of respect to my interactions with them."

      "In the sales world, the relationships that I build with my staff and my customers are strengthened by respect. To solidify these relationships, I use a listen first approach to learn as much about others that I can. This shows them that I am attentive to their needs, both personally and professionally.
