What do you know about our product lines we develop and produce here at GE Healthcare? Do you have familiarity with any of these product lines?
For this question, your interviewer will be looking to see that you've done your research on the organization regarding their products and that you understand how the role you are interviewing for will impact one or all of those product lines. Be sure to mention the Imagine, Ultrasound, Life Care and Software solutions and speak to any familiarity you have with those product lines. If you don't have direct experience with GE Healthcare's product lines, there is no need to fret as your interviewer is aware of that from your application/resume. In this case, be sure to speak to the skills that you bring to the job and how you can transition to working with GE Healthcare's products.
"Having worked in the clinical sales field with other products, I'm very familiar with GE's imaging and ultrasound product lines as I've seen them throughout the facilities that I've worked with. I know from talking to CEO's, VP's and Administrators alike that GE Healthcare has an amazing reputations that I'd love to represent moving forward. If I understand this role correctly, I would be primarily working in the sales of the Life Care line of products. This line includes monitoring and acute care systems in EEG, Metabolic Monitoring and other things of the like. If hired for this role, I would diligently to learn the product line, the features and benefits of all the products and who my customers would be."
"I have seen many GE products when I have been a patient at the hospital or visited a family member in the hospital. I know that the CT machines and other imaging products come from GE Healthcare, along with equipment on the hospital floor, like patient monitors and cardiac/telemetry machines. I'm always really impressed by the condition of the equipment and have never experienced any technical difficulties at facilities using GE products."
