The work of the Canadian Red Cross occurs every day of the week at any hour of the day and, depending on the position you are being considered for, these hours can greatly vary. The great thing is that the organization clearly outlines the work hours required on their job postings. As you answer, keep in mind that your interviewer is not only asking if the hours meet your personal needs but also that you can adhere to all required hours. This is a great time to ask any clarifying questions if you need to as well.

"Yes, a full-time position is what would be needed for me to make a move to the Canadian Red Cross. I'm fully aware that I would need to respond during non-traditional hours in this role and work additional hours on certain days, due to demand and my family situation works out great for that. Our children both have their driver's licenses and my spouse has a job where he is home by 3:00 pm every day. The travel aspect is something I'm very familiar and comfortable with as well."
