This behavioral question offers insights into the environments where your personality thrives. Make sure you're familiar with the environment at Bunnings. Describe your experience in different work environments and how you adapted to different atmospheres.
This work environment can be social, as you'll be working among customers who may interrupt the task at hand and distract you. Customer service always comes first. For some, this can be frustrating, causing them to lose progress or track where they left off. This can lower productivity and make multitasking harder for more introverted personalities who require solitary environments to recharge. Most people fall somewhere in the middle between being an introvert and an extrovert. Exhibit your ability to be productive in any environment.

"I can be productive in most work environments, so long as the energy is positive and teamwork is encouraged. I cannot work in an environment that feels negative or toxic."

"I've spent a lot of time at Bunnings Warehouse stores, and I've always appreciated how the sales associates work together, treat each other with respect, and always seem to be having fun! That's the environment I'm looking for, and I'd love the chance to add my positive attitude and attention to detail to the team here."

I personally dislike working in a toxic and depressing work environment. I think having a positive and energetic group of workers will always lift and improve the work environment.

Rachelle's Feedback
You are right - a positive work environment makes all the difference :) At the end of your answer, I suggest including a statement that qualifies you as a positive and energetic worker. You may also want to compliment the work environment at Bunnings. If you are not sure about the type of environment they offer, you can instead close with a question for the interviewer regarding the environment that you can expect if you are hired. I've offered two examples for you below.
"I dislike working in a toxic or low energy work environment. Having a positive and energetic group of workers will always lift my spirits and improve my productivity. I'd love the chance to bring my positive attitude and energetic work style to Bunnings. I hear that the environment at Bunnings is highly collaborative and supportive, and I look forward to learning more."

I am productive in most of the work environments and there is no such dislike environment for me as I also contribute to the work environment so if I am coming in the office and sharing my enthusiasm and positive vibes I believe the work environment will reflect the same.

Cindy's Feedback
Ok, good start. If there isn't an environment that you dislike, can you discuss the environment you would prefer over others? For example, do you work best at a certain pace? With teams? Independently? The interviewer is seeking information about whether your work style will fit into the work environment and will want to hear your assessment.
