The interviewer is looking for candidates who can learn from challenges and be capable of supporting positive change. Their ideal candidates, in times of change, will show their support for the direction the company is going and support their teammates. As they detail on their website, "Here at Best Buy, we recognize that we're all human. We often have to overcome unique challenges, and we work in an industry that's constantly changing. Thankfully, our supportive team is here to help grow from challenge and embrace change."

When preparing for a video interview, make sure you don't experience any technical issues. Best Buy has a great many technological offerings as a retailer, and you want to come across as technologically savvy as possible. So, regardless of which device you decide to use, ensure you've got the strongest Wi-Fi signal possible. Make sure your microphone is working properly. Close any unnecessary browsers or applications, and silence notifications. The last thing you want is for other software to pop up and pause or kick you off your video interview.

"Recently, the company launched a new structure to our management, and they did away with the assistant manager position, and relabeled many of the other management position labels. The messaging as to why was a bit messy and many of the employees suddenly were worried their job security was at risk. But, it didn't seem that way to me, and there weren't mass layoffs or firings or anything. I think they were just trying to generate a new structure and new competition to attract more leaders. So, I just did what I could to keep morale high and to keep putting my all in."
