Best Buy stands behind their statements surrounding diversity and inclusion, with the aim of not only ensuring all of their employees collaborate and work well together in an equal opportunity environment, but also to accurately represent the community they serve. "Leading from the heart, our amazing people bring our culture and values to life every day. Diversity and inclusion is NOT a politically correct nice-to-have. It is essential to a company's success and humanity. They help us to authentically connect with each other, even when we're leaning into hard conversations."

When discussing diversity and inclusion, you want to come across as open, curious, and comfortable. So, be mindful of how you are coming across in your video interview. If you feel uncomfortable with this kind of interview, dedicate some time practicing in front of your camera and coming across as relaxed and amicable on screen. Maintain eye contact with the camera as if you're speaking face-to-face with a person. Lean forward and keep your body language open. Try not to look at yourself on the screen, but rather maintain eye contact with the camera lens. Looking at yourself on the screen could be interpreted as looking down, which is a sign of lacking confidence. So practice beforehand until you are comfortable with this style of interview, and come across as if you are speaking to a real person or to an audience.

"I only have experience working in a diverse and inclusive work culture. I would honestly feel a little weird working in an environment bereft of culture. This is one of the reasons I love Best Buy. The company's diversity statements are more than just website wallpaper. There is power behind the words there and you can tell the company stands behind what they say."
