      How to Answer

This is a chance to really sell yourself and convince the interviewer that their firm NEEDS to hire you. What better way to do this than by going in depth to describe your greatest strength. This doesn't necessarily have to be related to engineering directly. It could be a personality trait.

"I am a good problem solver and work pretty well under pressure. I've had several situations where I've had to come up with a solution to problems within a limited time frame and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Recently, I was given a last-minute notice for the submission of a manuscript to a journal by my advisor while I was preparing for my FE exam for the first time. I had the submission and the exam in the same week. Though stressful, by careful planning and good time utilization, I was able to meet the deadline and pass the exam."

Your answer to this question is right on! Not only do you mention two strengths of yours (being a good problem solver and working well under pressure), but you also give an example of a time when you utilized these strengths to get something done. This sort of example will make your answer more memorable to the interviewer. Good job!
