The interviewer wants to hear what motivated you to become an Orthopedic Physician Assistant. It might be that you were working in another healthcare position and found orthopedics fascinating, you may have a mentor who recommended this profession, or possibly you were injured in your life and had outstanding care from an Orthopedic Physician Assistant. Describe what motivated you to enter this profession.

"I chose to enter this profession after I was badly injured in a motorcycle accident seven years ago. I fractured both of my femurs, my pelvis, and my clavicle. I was in the hospital for two months and had excellent care from all of the medical staff. I spent a lot of time with my Orthopedic Physician Assistant and admired how well she did her job. I was enrolled in Paramedic school at the time of my accident, so I knew I wanted a healthcare career. After talking with my Orthopedic Physician Assistant over the months, I decided I wanted to switch careers and help others in the same way I was helped."
