"I follow a checklist to make sure all of my responsibilities are taken care of during my shift. For example, when the checkout lines are slow, I make sure each line has plenty of bags. When the lines are busy, I know that I will need to help retrieve those shopping carts from the parking lot in a few minutes. I've been able to pick up on the patterns of when I'll be the busiest and plan accordingly."
