Question 29 of 30

What fundraising techniques would you want to use for our cause?

"Because your organization provides treatment for childhood cancer, I thought it would be exciting to create a truly special event that is fun for the entire family and brings media attention to such an important cause. When I went to summer camp as a child, I remember participating in something called 'a polar plunge.' This is an event where people gather to jump into a river, lake or some other body of water in a challenge usually designed to raise awareness and money for a dedicated cause. I have witnessed organizations raise tens of thousands of dollars from hosting one of these events. I believe sponsoring a polar plunge on behalf of your organization would be an attractive event to engage new and existing donors alike."

      2nd Answer Example

"I know that federal and state governments have allotted additional funding to support senior services as a result of the pandemic. Securing these funds means being able to effectively navigate the grant-seeking cycle to a successful award. Since your organization provides vital senior services to the community, I would leverage federal and state grant programs to boost your organization's program impact in addition to helping your fundraising team meet its annual quota."
