      1st Answer Example

"I am so glad to learn that you support continuing education. The last opportunity I had was two months ago. It was a panel of speakers on how AI is and will continue to change our work. It was fascinating. I talked to a few speakers afterward and learned about the systems they are using so I can bring it back to my company for further discussion. This technology would help us be more efficient in many areas."

      2nd Answer Example

"I continuously relied on another colleague to do all of my design work. Her work load is very full and it would be so much faster to do it myself. I asked my leader if I could take a 2 day course to learn the design platform. She agreed so I attended and learned a lot. I did need to do some additional practicing during my own time, but I was really excited about it, so it didn't feel like work. Now, I can finish my work much more quickly since I can also do the design part."

      Community Answer

"Learning new skills and techniques is one of my motivating factors. I constantly immerse myself in opportunities both on a local level and national level. At my current company, we have Nexus meetings that allow physicians to better understand how our products work through a didactic course and then on to a cadaver training where they can get their hands on the product. There are excellent learning opportunities for me, too, as I have a chance to use the equipment also and understand better what the physician is experiencing."

This is a great example. I omitted the first two sentences because the rest of your response is direct and very strong. My suggested response involved minor verbiage edits.

"Currently, I take part in Nexus Meetings that allow physicians to understand better the way products work through hands-on didactic courses and cadaver training. These are excellent learning opportunities for me as well because I get a chance to use the equipment to understand better what the physicians are experiencing."

"At my last job, they offered a team lead training program that I decided I wanted to do. I'm always trying to be better then I was the day before, and to do that is the more you know, the more you grow. Be an example of integrity was an important thing to learn. You possess this you gain trust from your team members, they know what you say you will do, and you treat everyone like you want to be treated."

I chose three webcasts related to Talent Management so I could continue to learn what trends are happening in the market and how different industries are being successful at addressing them."

"Designing and developing Extrusion tools was part of my role. Sometimes there would be a need to design and create many tools for various profiles or fixtures for production. In order to be more proficient, I enlisted additional training on SolidWorks for drawings and assembly. This in turn helped me improve my utilization of SolidWorks tools which has helped me to be more knowledgeable and efficient in 3D modeling."
