  • 7. At Stryker, our organization is highly matrixed with U.S. and global partners on our teams. How have you navigated this kind of environment in the past?

      How to Answer

With locations that span from North and South America to locations all over the world on almost every continent, coming to work at Stryker means the potential to partner and collaborate with colleagues from anywhere. Aside from the personal aspect of being able to work effectively with individuals, this question is a bit more pointed in asking how you have worked in an environment where departments and locations are a bit intertwined and not in a traditional top-down organizational model. If you've been in this type of environment, talk about how you communicated effectively and ensured that there were no gaps in keeping people informed. Since slower processes can be a downfall of this structure, make sure to highlight how you were sure to keep processes and information flowing quickly.
