Talk about your conflict resolution skills and when they have helped you on the job in the past. Why do you feel they'll be important to have here at KB Home?

"In sales, healthy conflict can certainly lead to fruitful conversations and better results for customers. These are conversations that I've learned to get a lot better at throughout my career and have become willing and ready to lead them when necessary. Taking an open approach with customers and taking the time to listen to them is vitally important to ensure that all thoughts are out in the open. My job from there is problem-solving and making sure the customer is satisfied. These are skills I'm confident will benefit me and your customers in this position at KB Home."

      The home sales and building process can be stressful for everyone involved, including both buyers and the team of individuals involved in the sales, design, and construction process. The KB Home team has been through just about every situation possible when it comes to the sales and completion of homes and your interviewer knows that the ability to ensure the best service possible to customers in the end is what is important. Put some thought into the skills you will bring to KB Home regarding the ability to navigate conflict in the job you are interviewing for. If possible, try to give an example of a time when your resolution skills led to a great result to prove your ability to continue to do this into the future.
