Your interviewer is curious to learn more about your character and how your idea of integrity might align with theirs. This is especially relevant since one of EIB Group's core values is integrity, which they define as "Staff members adhere to high standards of professional ethics and endeavour to act in a way in which a sound EIB Group spirit is maintained by being honest and fair." So spend time familiarising yourself with their core values and code of ethics before answering this question.

"To me, integrity is so much more than being honest. It's about doing the right thing. It isn't just one principle, but what guides all of your principles. It's about intention. If you aren't willing to admit to something, it might reveal a lack of integrity, except where admitting to it lacks humility. And that boils down to intention. And intention should always be guided by integrity."
