"It has been my goal for some time to work my way up to qualifying for a career move into the EIB. So I ticked off the checklist for my career goals until I finally felt I met all the criteria to compete for a role like this one. So here I am. No company better aligns with my priorities, nor any other organization I would be proud to work with. Climate and environmental sustainability, the advancement of health and life science, and investing in sustainable energy and natural resources are all important to me, and I want to work for a company I can stand behind with pride."

The European investment bank has a webpage dedicated to offering advice on crafting your resume and cover let, tips for your application process and recorded assessments, and even offers some interview advice as well: "Practice, practice, practice: with a friend, in front of a mirror or on video. Assess your ability to talk about yourself, your competencies, and your experiences. Collect your experiences: prepare a wide range of brief stories, with concrete examples, about the professional experiences, competencies and results that might be relevant to the role. This will make it easier for you to bring them to mind on the day of your interview. Tell your story in a structured way, following a simple order to show: the context, your specific role, behaviour and contribution, what the outcome was and what you learned. Research: spend some time reading material and information about the Bank, the department/division to which you are applying and its activities. You can retrieve a huge amount of information from our website, our social media or from the news. Show us that you care."

When answering questions about the arc of your career, give your story so far a beginning, middle, and end. Share with them who you are, as the character of your story, where you've come from, how you got here, and where you hope to go together as partners in a professional relationship. Show them how your values align and what you both stand to gain from working together.

Tell me about yourself.

"My parents were both career professionals in finance and taught me the principles of financial responsibility early on. Yet, I was always an environmental activist ever since I was young, and I taught them the value of sustainability. As a professional, I feel strongly that both of these spheres are intermingled, and this is the direction I have taken my career. As you can see from my cover letter and resume, I bring a lot of experience, and my goal is to work with an organisation whose priorities, culture and values complement mine. Also, I felt the career growth available to me in my current role is more limited and would take my career in a direction that might lead to some stagnation and career dissatisfaction. So this, being a priority, has led me to follow a more sustainable career path, and that path has led me here."

As the European investment bank advises, "Just be yourself: don't try to play a role or follow a script that is not authentic. Let your true personality shine through. We are not looking for actors, but for genuine people who will thrive in our culture and who we would love to have as colleagues." So spend time thinking about the first impression you want to make. Contemplate the goals of your interviewer. They are looking for their ideal candidate, someone who would be a good fit for what they've built and take pride in being a stakeholder in carrying on their mission. So, be yourself, share why you feel you are the perfect fit for them, and how they are the perfect fit for you.

What does integrity mean to you?

"To me, integrity is so much more than being honest. It's about doing the right thing. It isn't just one principle, but what guides all of your principles. It's about intention. If you aren't willing to admit to something, it might reveal a lack of integrity, except where admitting to it lacks humility. And that boils down to intention. And intention should always be guided by integrity."

Your interviewer is curious to learn more about your character and how your idea of integrity might align with theirs. This is especially relevant since one of EIB Group's core values is integrity, which they define as "Staff members adhere to high standards of professional ethics and endeavour to act in a way in which a sound EIB Group spirit is maintained by being honest and fair." So spend time familiarising yourself with their core values and code of ethics before answering this question.

How do you believe your coworkers would describe you?

"I believe my coworkers would describe me as a reliable person who is always ready to submit the best work possible. My work ethic has never been questioned, and I am very proud of the work I have completed in my career so far. Some words I think my colleagues would use to describe me are encouraging, caring, knowledgeable, reliable, focused, honest, assertive, tenacious, motivated, ambitious, and conscientious."

Your interviewer would not only like to know how you feel your colleagues perceive you, which should offer clues to your self-awareness and emotional intelligence. They are also curious whether what you share is aligned with the qualities they are looking for in a candidate. This should reveal the extent of your interview preparations and creative thinking and how you would rephrase and align your character with their ideal candidate. "We are a bank with a difference: we all share a passion for helping shape a better future for the European Union and beyond. We look for talented individuals from a wide range of disciplines."

Can you walk me through your typical audit workflow in your current role?

"To aid in auditing processes, I created a detailed audit planning document that my department has used for the past four years. It has had a dramatic impact on our audit results. The planning document provides a step-by-step approach to outlining our objectives, clearly outlining the documentation needed to identify the stakeholders and plan for meetings. In this role with European Investment Bank, I would use a similar approach. With the plan in place, I work alongside the stakeholders to explain the audit and what is needed from each person. I communicate in many methods, including email, phone and in-person meetings when possible. My goal is to ensure that each individual understands the process and the end goal as clearly as possible."

The auditing process at the European Investment Bank is purportedly very detailed. "As you can imagine, our operations are very complex and highly diversified, both in terms of the areas of economic activity we are active in and in terms of countries and regulatory environments we operate in. It is paramount that across all of these, we remain compliant with evolving best practices and international laws and regulations."

For this question, your interviewer hopes to gain insight into the experience and skills you would bring to their team. First, they'll be looking to see that you have a firm grasp of what a solid auditing process looks like. Next, they'll be looking to see that you have the ability to communicate in a manner that is effective with the people that you'll be working closely with. Lastly, they'll be looking to hear that you have the critical thinking skills necessary to succeed in an auditing role in the financial field. "Based on what I found online, EIB meets most of my wishlist for an ideal working environment. I am very driven to check off the milestones on my career plan, and EIB offers numerous opportunities to help me accomplish this. The environment feels very supportive of ensuring their employees have a strong work-life balance. Also, their values and ESG goals align with those I prioritise, such as the environment, sustainability, and celebrating equality, diversity and inclusion. I want to grow as a professional, which means learning from the collaboration that happens with everyone sitting at the table."

Most businesses place a great deal of emphasis on fostering a positive work environment. Not only does a positive working environment boost the drive and performance of their employees, but it also impacts their mood and mental health. Organisations that put efforts into employee retention and job satisfaction, and aim to thwart burnout syndrome among their employees, put a great deal of thought into how the environment they create will attract and retain their ideal talent. So when answering this question, identify how the working environment they advertise on their careers webpage conforms to your ideal working environment. Then speak to how you feel working with them will satisfy your need for job satisfaction and how this played a role in your pursuing this opportunity.

How do you feel about the development of your career so far?

"I believe in being a lifelong learner as a Data Analyst. As technology and times have changed, I see it as very important to learn and change along with the times. Just over the past two years, I've attended the Data Fest and Data Summit national conferences, and participation in these events every year is super important to me to help me grow and develop."

Your interviewer is curious whether you value professional development and are interested in pursuing the opportunities their organisation can present to your career. Highlight the growth and development you're after and where you aim to take your career. Detail any continuing education you are currently or considering pursuing, any societies or groups you belong to and any publications you read regularly to prove to your interviewer that you aren't comfortable being stagnant in your career.

"In the financial field, I have to stay at the top of my game to compete with other advisors and keep clients happy and flourishing. To do this, I subscribe to and read many of the great publications out there. Some of my favourites include the Wall Street Journal, Money magazine and Forbes. I also subscribe to many others. I am also a member of NAIFA and have attended the organization's Congressional Conference on a few occasions."

Give an example of a time you had to resolve a difficult situation with a client or customer. What were the keys to a successful solution?

"Having worked in customer service for one of the area's largest auto dealerships for the last six years, handling difficult customers was a situation I had to learn to handle quickly. A few weeks ago, I was covering our front desk on a Saturday afternoon when our sales staff was still open for business. I recognized the person approaching the door as a customer that had recently purchased a new vehicle. He stormed through the door, placed his keys on the counter in front of me and said that he demanded a refund on his new purchase because the check engine light had already come on inside the car. Knowing off the top of my head that his new vehicle was under a full warranty, I calmly let him know that his car was under warranty and that I'd have a member of our sales staff come out and take a quick look. I also let him know that our service department was not working that afternoon and, if needed, we could schedule him for a diagnostic test at his earliest convenience. After our salesman went out to take a quick look and, not seeing anything obvious, we gave him a loaner vehicle so his new car could be taken care of on Monday morning. He ended up leaving pretty happy that day, and I know that my patience in hearing him out helped."

Your interviewer aims to determine how well you communicate with others, especially when the person you are communicating with doesn't possess the strongest communication skills. How you answer will inform them whether you possess the skills to resolve such client issues in a front-facing role. Showcase how you take ownership of your interpersonal skills and your strong track record of communicating non-defensively. This requires patience and effort to communicate more clearly and amenably than the person you are communicating with.

When answering this question, assure them of your commitment to acting according to the EIB Group's core values. Such as their core value of "Commitment: Staff members remain loyal to the EIB Group and its mission by acting objectively, impartially, conscientiously and without regard to self-interest. Staff members shall strive for excellence and provide high-quality services in the performance of their duties."

"A couple of years ago, I was asked to work with a very high-profile client for his financial advising services when he came to our firm because my CEO trusted I could handle what he felt would be difficult. From my first meeting with the client, he demanded that we provide more returns than the previous firm he worked with, and he was rather rude to our front desk staff. I took the time to listen to his needs and speak to him more about what my firm could provide. I laid out my experience and track record to build his trust in me. I knew that with him, I would need to take time to walk through my decision-making processes for his investments, and he appreciated that. As of today, we are still working well together, and his wealth is growing."

What experience do you have presenting in front of a captive audience?

"As I look back on my career, which has stretched over a couple of different industries, I am confident in lending a majority of my success to my ability to communicate and work with others. In my current role in the insurance industry, I am a regular guest at many corporate functions and agent staff meetings, where I present on economic trends. During these presentations, I am charged with creating interactive presentations to help engage our audience and provoke questions from them. I am comfortable being a subject matter expert in front of these groups and would look forward to being thrown into this role here at European Investment Bank."

Your interviewer is looking to gain further insight into your communication skills, both written and verbal, especially when giving presentations. "In my current role, I work hand in hand with staff to walk them through the reports I create to explain my findings and what it means in their daily work. In this role, I see myself as an adviser who is there to help educate and help our staff and organization prosper, and I love that aspect of my role. If brought aboard the team here at European Investment Bank, I would see myself as that same educator that would present my findings to your team in a fun and useful manner."

Do you actively connect with your coworkers on social media? What kinds of things do you post?

"I have a few social media accounts but am not very active. I rarely post things of my own. Primarily, I just scroll."

Your interviewer is looking to determine how professionally you conduct yourself on social media and whether your conduct would uphold the reputation they've spent so much time building and protecting. As stated in their code of conduct, "When engaging in social media, staff members are expected to act with caution and care, to use sound judgment and common sense, and to behave in accordance with the core values of the EIB Group. On personal social media accounts, staff members should make clear that they are not speaking on behalf of the EIB Group. In all social media activities, staff members must be mindful not to bring the EIB Group into disrepute. When staff members post on any social network/ platform, they are strongly encouraged to consider the implications prior to posting or commenting on social media, including in the context of cleared external activities."

"The only social media I am active on is Linkedin, where I maintain a high degree of professionalism."

Accuracy is important to us at the European Investment Bank. Do you always double-check or proofread your work?

"Spelling and grammatical errors are a pet peeve of mine. I will triple-check my work if there is time! I feel that it is imperative to submit error-free work."

Your interviewer aims to gain insights into your work ethic and how diligent you are in ensuring your quality of work exceeds expectations. As they detail online, the European Investment Bank is looking for candidates with a "pro-active attitude and solution-oriented, continuous improvement and optimisation mindset" and an "ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively." So walk your interviewer through your work standard and work ethic. Assure them that you are diligent when submitting your work and that, when possible, your standard aims to go the extra distance and exceed expectations.

"I do my best to put great work out at all times. I believe in double-checking my work, although I must admit that I have fallen victim to the odd mistake like the best of us!"

"I have been a CFA member for over five years now and look forward to the quarterly CFA Digest publication, the CFA Magazine, and their news brief email that comes out daily. These great resources cover things ranging from daily news impacting our work lives to big-picture studies and findings published in the digest. If hired for this role, I would continue to be an active CFA member and utilize their resources for my work."

In a rapidly changing field like finance, from trends, developments and changing regulations, you'll be expected to keep pace and be a trusted resource of information to your clients and coworkers. When sharing the groups or publications you turn to, remember to mention that you follow EIB Group's newsletter to "receive updates of the EIB Group's activities in Europe and around the world." If possible, use an example of a time you shed light on a new risk from one of those publications.

You can play a crucial role in creating and disseminating the news stories that keep both our people, political decision-makers around the world, as well as the general public, informed and up to date with our achievements and latest initiatives."

"As a risk professional, I have been a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals for many years. I have been certified by the Association for Financial Risk Management, and I try to attend their national conference every year to network and learn from other professionals. The FRM group has enabled me to stay on the forefront of changes in financial management that impacts risk on an almost daily basis, and the group helps me live and breathe financial risk every day."

Which one or two common problems do you feel challenge analysts in the financial industry?

"From my two years of experience as a Data Analyst in the financial industry, the common issues of overlapping data and duplicate entries did come up. But I've found the biggest issue to be the collection and implementation of real-time data to be the biggest hurdle. With markets continually changing daily, I've had to be diligent in updating reports for my advisors that I work closely with because what may be valid and real one day may be out of date the next."

While the challenges faced by general data analysts make for a pretty long generalized list, this question allows your interviewer to see your critical thinking skills by having you talk about which challenges you feel will be critical in the financial field. While there isn't necessarily a right or wrong answer to this question, make sure that you can speak intelligently about your answer and provide ways you can meet the challenges in your work with European Investment Bank.

"Having some very close contacts already working in the financial field in data analysis, I understand that manual data tracking can be a pain point due solely to the time needed to complete. Being highly educated in automated processes and utilizing machine learning in other industries, I think the knowledge I could bring to the team here at European Investment Bank would help advance your data analysis practices within my first six months on the job."

How adept are you to working with those who are different than you?

"Everyone is different. But I understand what you mean. I have a great deal of experience living in diverse communities, working in diverse communities, and I feel strongly about promoting diversity, equality and inclusion everywhere."

Your interviewer is trying to gain insights into your cultural competence. Someone who is culturally competent exhibits an intellectual curiosity to learn more about those who come from backgrounds different from their own without misinterpreting different cultural and social cues or responding to things emotionally, defensively, or from a place of ignorance. Those who are culturally competent have a wider range of perspectives and a deeper understanding of intention and are capable of learning from others, regardless of their background, walk of life, or upbringing.

If you could expand your knowledge in any financial service area, which would you choose?

"I appreciate that European Investment Bank puts so much emphasis on the education of your employees and furthering banking and financial skills through your progressive training. If I could choose to further my education in any area of financial services, I would choose to learn more about hedge funds."

This question is another aimed at determining what kind of long-term future you see for yourself working with the EIB. Your answer will inform them which, if any, of the development opportunities they've advertised online appealed to you when you decided to pursue this role. "Our methodology includes not only classroom training, workshops and info-sessions but also modern and flexible options such as e-learning and mobile applications. We believe that varied forms of learning are conducive to your development and are better suited to your time schedule." Some of what they offer includes "programmes for management and leadership, personal development training aimed at improving your core competencies, job-related skills and IT training, banking and financial skills training, language courses, job shadowing, mentoring, coaching, secondments, and career counselling."

"I take professional development very seriously and have attended several courses this year, including Financial Markets and Products and Personal Financial Planning II. If I could take another, I would choose to learn more about Personal Financial Planning but taking the Level III course. I am also very open to any mentoring and career counselling the EIB offers."

What do you feel are important tasks to do once an audit is finished?

"The end goal of any audit is improvement, and my role as the Auditor is to help bring as much value to the improvement as possible. This begins with my work following an audit. First and foremost, my top goal at the end of an audit is to deliver the results clearly and quickly and meet with all stakeholders to discuss my results. Having many years of experience as an auditor, the one value I can add to European Investment Bank is my ability to help your leaders put action into place to improve. As you'll see from my letters of recommendation, many high-level leaders I have worked with in the past have appreciated my ability to do this."

Your interviewer is aiming to get a sense of how you will handle internal auditing processes. You and your interviewer both know that the work isn't completed the moment that an audit has been completed. For this question, your interviewer expects to hear what items you feel are a top priority in ensuring that the audit has a long-lasting impact. Discuss any unique tasks that you feel are a priority and value you can bring to the team at European Investment Bank by talking about how they've been useful to others you've worked with in the past.

"In my work, my most important task following an audit is to help the key stakeholders understand what needs to be improved and how to improve it. I do this through a thorough reporting process to them. Managers like visual aids, and I can provide them. They also like to hear suggestions on how to improve, and my time in the auditing field has given me a lot of process improvement knowledge that can help your leadership staff here at the European Investment Bank."

How do you think the field of fraud analysis will change in the next five to ten years?

"Based on a recent industry event I attended a couple of months ago, criminals are ramping up their approach to breaching facial and voice recognition software. I think financial institutions using that technology need to ramp up their security measures even further. This doesn't surprise me, though, because, since the advent of modern technology, the bad guys are often right behind and then jumping ahead of current technology. As a member of the ACFE, I can stay at the forefront of our field to help my work here in the future with the European Investment Bank."

As fraudsters become more tech-savvy and the underground world of hacking becomes more sophisticated, your interviewer is trying to assess how capably you, as a Fraud Analyst, would be able to help European Investment Bank stay at the forefront. They are looking for someone who is agile and diligent in their work. For this question, show your interviewer that you like to stay at the forefront of your field by talking about how you stay informed and talk about what you feel are the biggest things to keep an eye on in the future. This will show your interviewer that you have the mindfulness to help fraud prevention at European Investment Bank for years to come if hired for this role.

"I think that hackers will continue to build upon their attempts to con people out of their personal information as more and more corporate mergers continue to occur into the future. Many financial institutions need consumers to re-verify their information, and criminals will continue to be at the forefront of trying to stay one step ahead of vulnerable consumers. While password protection is important, our work as Fraud Analysts must continue to be diligent to detect when a user's identity is compromised."

Are you familiar with vouching and how it is used during auditing processes?

"As an internal auditor, vouching is a process that accurately verifies that information is correct. During my time auditing large manufacturers, the vouching that I did entailed recovering and verifying items like invoices and purchase receipts. We'd use vouching for large items that impacted an organization's bottom line."

At the heart of this question, your interviewer is looking to take a small peek inside your technical knowledge of the auditing process. Your answer can be pretty straightforward by explaining what a voucher is and, if possible, talking about times that you have used it in auditing processes in the past.

"Because accounting processes are prone to human error in data entry, vouching is a way to ensure accuracy. In essence, vouching is certifying that data entered in an accounting book is accurate by crosschecking the information with actual statements, receipts and debit notes. I've conducted vouching during audits in the retail industry, and these were required to be very thorough processes with large retailers receiving shipments of product from many different sources."

What are the steps you would take in the financial data validation process as part of your work?

"With any large analysis project and performing data validation, my first step is to create a detailed plan for the data needed. This plan will define the required data to be validated and set the way for the remaining steps. The next steps are to validate the information in the database and then the formatting of the data. Finally, before validating the data, sampling needs to be done to ensure that a small sample meets the project's requirements. Being very proficient in many validation programs, I consider myself very proficient in both QuerySurge and Datameer, but I remain open to learning any new programs here at the European Investment Bank."

According to the European Investment Bank's interview advice, "your interview programme, in most cases, will also comprise a professional and/or technical test which aims to further assess your competency and knowledge on certain job-related subjects." So for a position like a Data Analyst, your interviewer will aim to recruit a detailed and proficient candidate who can walk them through the proper steps in the data validation process. Bad data in the financial industry can have a costly impact, and your job will be to ensure that doesn't happen. Whatever position you are applying for, discuss the importance of being competent and proficient in your role, and walk them through your methods to offer them the confidence that you are experienced and capable of exceeding their expectations.

"Here at European Investment Bank, your Financial Advisors rely on the most accurate and up-to-date data to present to clients, and I would take great pride in my job as a Data Analyst to provide the best data possible. To validate data, the two important steps I would take are data screening and data verification. I am very confident in my ability to work with algorithms that screen large sets of data for accuracy. On top of that, I have worked with a few of the different data verification programs like Experian and Sage Intacct."

What statistical models are you familiar with and prefer to work with?

"As a data nerd, I love the realm of statistics and am very familiar with all the unique statistical models and how to best apply them to different situations. I've applied linear regression to predict outcomes based on two historically known data points. I've also applied multivariate models when looking at the distribution of multiple data points. Having dabbled a bit in the market myself and now looking to bring my quantitative analysis skills to the financial field, I am very familiar with the Gaussian model for predicting market changes and would love to bring the knowledge that I have of this model to your team here at European Investment Bank."

Your interviewer aims to assess your skill level and whether you've identified training opportunities EIB offers to take your skills even further. "Our career development and learning offer aims to enhance your performance at work by developing your skills and competencies to help you overcome your current and future professional challenges."

How you answer this question should inform your interviewer whether you have the skills to apply a statistical model in finance by having you talk about the models you are familiar with and have worked with. The financial industry relies upon its Financial Engineers and Quantitative Analysts to utilize complex algorithms and math to predict the trading market's immediate future. While being honest about your experiences, be sure to point out that you are aware that some apply more to finance and the market to set yourself apart during this question.

"As you can see from my prior experience in data engineering and financial analysis, I have extensive experience in time series modelling that utilized both univariate and multivariate models. Multivariate time series modelling has proven to be very effective when looking at and predicting the S&P 500 performance, and I think my skills in this arena would greatly benefit your team."

What is your familiarity with debt-to-equity ratios? What would you consider a good debt-to-equity ratio?

"I am very familiar with debt-to-equity ratio calculations and know that ratios lower than 1.0 are desired to consider a firm financially stable. When I've worked with ratios exceeding 1.0, I've provided further examinations of the industry and the organisation's stance within the industry to determine their overall risk to provide a win-win situation."

For this question, your interviewer will look to hear that you understand the basics of calculating a debt-to-equity ratio and why it is used. In your answer, be sure that you talk about the ratio's importance in considering debt financing. If you are familiar with different industries and what is considered a reasonable ratio for each industry, be sure to talk about that because what is reasonable can differ widely between industries.

"Simply put, the debt-to-equity ratio is found with two easy figures on a company's balance sheet: their total liabilities and shareholder equity. Swaying away from the norm, I know that the financial and banking industries often have to consider debt-to-equity ratios higher than 2.0 common and acceptable due to the large amounts of loaned money and high financial leverage by those institutions."

What statistical analysis tools do you have experience working with?

"In my current role, most of my analysis is handled in SAS. I've grown to appreciate the program's ability to manage large data sets and create predictive modelling in the financial field. Describe one of the more difficult days you’ve experienced on the job.

"It's funny that you ask this question because I can honestly say that my most challenging day on the job happened just a few short weeks ago. Upon arriving at work in the morning, I quickly learned that our entire network was down, and we couldn't work within our CRM or other programs that day. Many of my coworkers were visibly upset and questioning how to do our jobs that day. I huddled our group together to talk about solutions to the workday after we found out that the network likely wouldn't be fully up and running until late afternoon. While some colleagues carelessly went home for the day, I helped brainstorm how to keep our phone lines open, and my boss was very grateful for my efforts that day. What made this the most difficult for me was seeing how others responded so negatively over an issue we had no control over."

When describing a difficult day you've experienced as a professional, focus less on your setbacks and more on the professional challenges you've overcome and how this added value to your experience. "Early in my career, I had a day where my entire office came down with the flu, and I was left alone with the receptionist for the day. As trained Financial Advisors, my colleagues also handled market analysis, retirement plans, and insurance plans. At first, the receptionist and I went about our business. After being flooded with calls and in-person visits to our office, we connected again to discuss a plan moving forward. We discussed what types of calls she could handle and which ones I would handle, and she triaged from there. I contacted the clients I had scheduled that day to reschedule, and we worked well from there. If I couldn't answer a question for a client of one of my colleagues, I ensured they knew my colleague would follow up as soon as possible. Looking back, I learned that on days where you have to break routine like we did, then that it was important to make a plan as early in the day as possible."

Give me an example of how you solved a problem without having all the necessary information at hand to do so.

"Back when I first joined my current organization, I was taking a role that had been vacant for many months. I had to start with a backlog of work along with the regular daily activities. This customer service role included logging daily visitors and calls, and the interim rep only kept brief notes. After taking the time to walk through training and get running on my own, I realized that the current workload wouldn't allow me to catch up on the backlog of work that had been missed. While I had ideas of how to play catch up on the work, I approached my supervisor with a few ideas, and we settled on having me log hours from home on our system as overtime to get caught up. I worked with our IT staff on getting set up on our network from home and was more than willing to help with some extra hours."

"Well, for starters, I have enjoyed our discussion and this opportunity to review my qualifications and what I have to offer. My current employers are currently paying me this much and have to offer a 5% increase if I chose to stay with them. This is before my next pay review in three months. Now, the cost of living is roughly 10% higher than where I live. But the total rewards benefits package the EIB offers is quite generous and has a few offerings I don't currently receive at my current employer."
