"I am the best person for this job because I recently completed my correction officer training with glowing references and reviews. "I have a lot of experience with verbal de-escalation and am very good at getting inmates to comply, which reduces the likelihood of physical altercations. This technique drastically increases officer safety and maintains order because inmates are more likely to misbehave when they see other inmates being disorderly."

Avoid saying anything negative about the other candidates to make yourself look better. If you speak poorly of others, the interviewer will determine that you may be a challenging employee to work with and will pass you over for another candidate with a stronger moral character.

These are great reasons; however, you will want to craft a more compelling response to stand out. Use some of your unique qualities, along with your existing work experience.
"I am best suited for this job because I have a commanding presence and a solid moral compass. During my time in public service I have come across many situations where my integrity is tested, yet, I never waiver."

I believe I'm the best suited candidate for this job because of my work experience and the skills that I've acquired because of it. I'm a great communicator, team player, and don't go to work with an ego. My priority is to be the best employee that I can be to ensure a harmonious and efficient shift whenever I work. With safety being the priority. My integrity and discipline is something I believe you won't have to worry about either.

I believe in integrity and justice. I believe in human interaction and support that can influence people and motivate them to change a little bit. I am physically fit for the job, and I have experience in de-escalating physical altercation. I also have some experience in data analysis, and I love working on data collection and analyze those to make the working environment better for the staff.
The usual data I work on is behavioral pattern data and discipline data. For example, in a specific month, how many times an individual makes the same mistake and puts him/her in trouble, what causes him/her to trigger and make that mistake, what can we do to stop the pattern - to help this individual better.

You make an excellent case for winning the job!
