Question 4 of 30

What steps do you take to optimize the cost efficiency of applications and other IT assets?

"In my role as an application analyst, I am constantly monitoring and analyzing the organization's IT processes, applications, and IT infrastructure. I look for opportunities to reduce costs by minimizing software licenses, upgrading outdated systems that have become inefficient, and aggregating resources that can simultaneously perform multiple functions. One strategy that has consistently worked for me in the other organizations I've worked for is comparing the costs and benefits of integrating new IT assets into the organization's infrastructure with the productivity gains the organization would realize by doing this."
