1. Working at Zebra can become stressful. How do you handle stress on the job?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Employee reviews of Zebra Technologies are mixed when it comes to the stress levels of their jobs. This is to be expected within enterprise-level companies. However, any role is likely to have stressful periods, and your interviewer wants to know how you control yourself under pressure.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Remember to provide a method that is authentic and in line with your role. For example, a manager should be able to speak to their ability to lead their teams through stressful times in addition to their ability to control their response to pressure.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"When I am under pressure on the job, I focus on the task at hand and make sure not to get distracted. I remind myself that stressful periods are expected and will not last forever. If necessary, I let my management know if I need additional guidance or support."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"As a leader, my response to stressful situations affects my teams and clients in many situations. My approach involves being honest about the situation and looking for ways to support each other during difficult times. I remind my teammates to take breaks and care for themselves. I remind my clients that stressful times are normal for IT projects and ask how I can help. Finally, I lean on my support network to stay healthy. I delegate if needed and make sure that I stay balanced and ready to lead."

2. How do setbacks emotionally affect you and your work?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Your interviewer wants to know how you plan to cope with unforeseen issues in the workplace. Behavioral questions like these help them determine if your approach is a fit for the teammates or customers you will be working with. Zebra Technologies works with complicated technology often used in mission-critical and global business settings. Setbacks are to be expected, and it is important to convince your interviewer you can handle them gracefully.

Remember To
Remember that some interviewers can easily detect a lie, even a small one. Answer questions like this honestly. Provide an answer that is believable and easy to resonate with. For example, a candidate who answered that they have no issues with setbacks and move past them easily in all instances would catch my attention as an interviewer. I would focus intently on their tone and body language throughout the rest of the interview because their answer to this question would seem suspect.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"Experiencing a setback is always disappointing and can be a bit disheartening, but I understand that it happens occasionally. If I experience a major setback, I will take a few moments to debrief with my manager and discuss what I could have done differently. Then, I move on!"
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"Setbacks can be disappointing, but I prefer to use them as motivation. Most of the setbacks I experience as a manager affect my teams, and I need to remain positive in the face of the challenge. I like to give everyone time to process the issue initially, but then I ask everyone to come together and shake it off so we can find a way forward again. My teams typically appreciate the balanced approach of honoring the truth of the situation while using it as motivation to improve or look forward to the next goal."

3. As you know, we have a very high customer service standard. If you could sum up your customer service style in three words, which would you choose?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Many top companies rely heavily on their customer service reputation, and Zebra Technologies is no exception. Whether you plan to work in a customer-facing role or behind the scenes, you will contribute to the customer experience in some way if hired.
This question is asked to ensure the candidate selected for the open role is a fit for the customer service-oriented culture of Zebra Technologies. Specifically, your interviewer wants to know if your style can help them to establish and maintain the trust and peace of mind Zebra Technologies advertises as benefits of becoming one of their valued customers.

Remember To
Reflect on your professional past and determine what makes you great at what you do. Questions like these frequently stump my career coaching clients. I have worked with truly talented individuals who cannot easily define their approach to skills such as leadership, management, and customer service. Some of my clients are uncomfortable because answering these questions feels like bragging, and some have simply never taken the time to consider the question.
Practice answering these questions out loud so that you can confidently answer the questions you are asked in an interview. I recommend running your answers by a friend or trusted colleague to refine your approach. I counsel my clients to answer with humble confidence. The balanced and relatable approach tends to resonate well with interviewers and is a comfortable way to self-promote without sounding arrogant.

Entry Level Example
"I have heard great things about the customer service provided by Zebra Technologies, and I look forward to joining your esteemed team. If I could sum up my customer service style in three words, I would choose attentive, personalized, and energetic."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"I would describe my customer service style as trustworthy, thorough, and end-to-end. I selected 'trustworthy' because I use active listening and empathy to understand the needs of my customers and deliver on the promises I make. I selected 'thorough' because I believe in taking a custom approach that fits each customer's unique needs.
Finally, I selected 'end-to-end' because I believe in checking in to make sure the needs of my customers are met, even if I hand an issue off to another teammate. As a manager, I often have to step out of the mix and let my teams handle the details of customer requests, but I keep a close eye on their work and make sure that all of our commitments are met at a high level of excellence."

4. Workplace culture is important to us at Zebra. What type of work environment do you dislike working in?
Remember To
Scan the job description for helpful work environment details before your interview. It is also important to review anything you can find on Zebra Technologies' website or online employee reviews regarding the company's culture and the various teams you may be working with.
Also, this question can be turned into an 'ask the interviewer' question. Remember to ask, 'what is the environment like within XYZ team?' if you do not have a clear understanding before accepting an offer.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
One of the first questions my colleagues and I would discuss in our interview debrief meetings was, 'did anyone uncover any red flags?' Red flags did not eliminate a candidate, but they were important enough to work through as a group before we invested additional time. In my experience, asking a candidate what they dislike was a common red flag generator.
Here's an example: I asked a candidate what types of IT projects they dislike. They responded that they dislike working on projects with an unclear scope. RED FLAG. My team primarily worked on custom software development projects in an agile setting. The scope of our efforts was typically loosely defined and refined by the team and the product owner as we went along. I was fearful this candidate might be uncomfortable working in such a fluid environment with a high rate of change. There is nothing wrong with disliking unclearly defined projects, but we did not want to hire a poor fit for the work we would be asking them to do.
This question and questions like these are used to ensure Zebra Technologies selects the right candidate for the right role working with the right teams. Answering authentically benefits you and your interviewer, so take some time to think about what you dislike before your interview.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"I dislike working in environments with little room for growth. I appreciate my current company, but there are few growth opportunities, and I want to progress professionally. I would like to work in an environment with greater opportunities to learn new skills and business concepts. Zebra Technologies is known for a culture that supports learning and career growth. I feel I would be supported in my desire to expand my professional skill set here."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
I thrive in creative and innovative environments. I enjoy working with new technology and high-performance teams. I can make almost any environment work, but I do not enjoy stagnant environments as much. I know Zebra Technologies is a company that embraces change, which is one of the top reasons I am excited to interview here today.

5. We value our customers at Zebra. How do you respond to customer or client complaints?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Customer service skills are critical for many of the roles available at Zebra Technologies. Sales, marketing, professional services, product management and customer support staff are all expected to excel in this category. Interviewers ask this question to test your ability to respond correctly to their clients during potentially challenging situations.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Review Zebra Technologies' support pages or documentation available on their website. They use specific terms to describe the quality of service they offer to their customers. Zebra Technologies interviewers are likely to appreciate candidates who use familiar language when discussing their approach to responding to customer complaints.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"I respond calmly, politely, and thoroughly to customer complaints. I know that maintaining the trust of your customers is of the utmost importance here at Zebra Technologies. I agree that trust in a client relationship is key, and I would be able to respond to your customers in a manner that would offer them peace of mind that their issue would be resolved promptly."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"Active listening, genuine empathy, and root cause analysis are the backbone of my customer approach. First, I want to make sure that I thoroughly understand the problem. In my experience, customers sometimes jump to telling me what solution they need before describing the problem in detail. I listen with empathy and put myself in their shoes. I work to understand the impact of the issue and then calmly ask questions to determine the root cause or causes.
From there, I offer a specific plan of action. I make a follow-up commitment if I need more time for analysis or solution development. I then resolve the problem and follow up to ensure the solution met their needs if appropriate.
My customers have noted their trust in my service and have thanked me for my thorough and thoughtful responses to their issues. I know I could provide the same level of customer service here at Zebra Technologies."

6. We believe in investing in our communities to create a better future. Describe a time you offered your time to help others.
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Some interviewers feel it is necessary to learn about a candidate's ability to make significant contributions outside the workplace. Candidates who are willing to volunteer their time are likely to have desirable traits such as empathy and an understanding of social issues that impact the workplace.
Zebra Technologies has an excellent track record of community service, and it is an important part of their 'Zebra Nation' culture. Your ability to describe a time when you had a positive impact on the lives of others will likely help you make a good impression during your interview.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Remember to thoroughly review the Zebra Blog before your interview. The articles contained within it include stories that highlight community projects and the volunteer-based impact Zebra Technologies employees make throughout the year. You can access this information from their website's 'Careers' section under the 'Life At Zebra' menu.
Also, remember to talk about a volunteer activity you are passionate about and link it to one of the projects Zebra employees participate in if possible. For example, I noticed in my research that a group of Zebra employees raise money for and participate in an annual walk event that benefits children with cancer. In addition to the money raised, the article highlights the physical, emotional, and mental health benefits the employees received through their service. If asked this question, I would explain that I have participated in several cancer walks and am also passionate about health on a holistic level. I would then mention the Zebra Blog article and express my excitement to interview with a company that shares similar values.

Entry Level Example
"I volunteered regularly at the Boys and Girls Club while in college. I went there when I was a child and wanted to give back to an organization that positively impacted my life. I tutored students twice a week for three years and even continued my work during the pandemic. It took a while to figure things out, but I worked with the program director there to set up virtual calls with the kids who had access to technology. Connecting with them during the quarantine helped them deal with the change and boosted my spirits.
I noticed in my research that Zebra Technologies compiled a list of volunteer activities for employees to participate in virtually during the pandemic. I appreciated the continued commitment to philanthropy and volunteerism during a time of change and difficulty. I am pleased to know I will be supported in my volunteer efforts by a committed company if offered the position here at Zebra Technologies."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"Taking the time to give back to others is an important part of my life. As you can see from my resume, I regularly participate in several volunteer organizations. For example, I am very passionate about giving back to the senior community, and I volunteer regularly at a local memory care and skilled nursing facility. I enjoy spending time with and learning from the residents. I also enjoy working with the staff and medical professionals there. Their work can be challenging at times, and I am happy to assist in any way I can when I am there. It is a truly rewarding experience.
I was impressed by the breadth and depth of the volunteer work of Zebra Technology employees. I also know Zebra Technologies is constantly working to improve the healthcare industry. Each of those efforts can help the communities I am invested in serving. I am excited about the possibility of working for such a generous and forward-thinking company."

7. Zebra Technologies is looking for reliable people. How many days were you absent from work last year?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
A part of being a diligent employee is being on time and present when expected. Interviewers who ask this question are looking for employees they can rely on to be at work when they are scheduled to be there. For example, managers responsible for ensuring timely equipment repairs, availability, or support are invested in hiring staff members prepared to maintain a regular schedule.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Remember to express your willingness to show up on time fully prepared in the event your work experience is limited. Some entry-level roles at Zebra Technologies require less than one year of experience, and you may not have a professional attendance record to speak to. In that case, discuss your attendance record at secondary school or your plans to be on time and raring to go when you enter the workplace.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"I have limited professional experience, but I had an exceptional attendance record at school. I am excited about this opportunity and understand the importance of showing up for my scheduled shifts on time, prepared to do my best each day."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"I had zero unexcused absences last year. I took 12 vacation days out of my 15 allotted days. I was sick for just two, and a note from my Doctor accompanied those. I was only late once due to a terrible snowstorm, and I always try to be 10 minutes early for my shift."

8. We seek to hire ambitious and dedicated people. What is your definition of hard work?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Hard work and dedication can be interpreted differently by everyone. To one person, another person's hard work could seem like slacking. Zebra Technologies defines themselves as a 'community of changemakers, innovators, and doers who come together to deliver a performance edge to the front line of business.' The interviewer who asks this question wants to know if you have the drive to contribute to the change Zebra is known for delivering.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Remember to align your answer with the role you are interviewing for. While there are generic answers that are likely acceptable, interviewers appreciate candidates who can apply the concept to the work they will be doing at Zebra Technologies if hired.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"To me, hard work means that I did what I could that day to exceed expectations. I come to work early, stay late if needed, and go over and above the requirements without hesitation. As a warehouse associate, hard work is also about attention to detail and using the equipment and technology available to me to its fullest. Hard work is maximized in my role when I work as efficiently as possible."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"As a leader, I continually encourage my teams to work smarter. Hard work is not about the hours we spend or the struggle to create. It is about the work we do to maintain an efficient and collaborative environment that helps us meet our goals while finding new ways to innovate. We constantly reflect on our processes and look for ways to maximize our time. I would look to facilitate a similar environment if hired for the senior program manager position here at Zebra Technologies."

9. If we hire you at Zebra, how can we motivate you on the job?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
This question is likely to be asked by a team leader or hiring manager in a Zebra Technologies interview. Your interviewer is invested in identifying a candidate that will be happy long-term working for the company. Knowing what motivates you is necessary to set the stage for a successful career at Zebra Technologies.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
As a facilitator, I frequently partnered with company leaders to improve team performance. Lack of motivation was a common issue I was asked to assist with. In many cases, there was a simple disconnect to be resolved. However, there were times when individual employees and even entire teams had expectations that were far outside what their current work environment could offer. The work to bridge these gaps can be difficult and sometimes results in companies losing talented individuals.
Remember to answer questions like this authentically if you know you need to be motivated in a certain way. Unmotivated employees can easily affect others in a team setting, and the negative impact can be significant. Establishing healthy expectations from the start is a great way to ensure your leaders and management enable your success and happiness at Zebra Technologies.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"I love to learn new things, which is one of the main reasons I would love to work at Zebra Technologies. I know Zebra Technologies invests heavily in offering learning opportunities and maintaining a comfortable workplace environment. I feel that combination will keep me motivated if hired."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"I am best motivated through words of praise and recognition for a job well done. I like to know that my efforts are being noticed. In my current position, we have a leaderboard, and I like that concept because it creates healthy competition."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Career Goals
10. We have multiple avenues for career growth. Where would you like to see your career with Zebra take you?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Interviewing, hiring, and onboarding is an expensive and time-consuming process for Zebra Technologies. The interviewer wants to ensure that the candidate they select envisions a career path in which their professional goals could be met at Zebra Technologies.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Remember to research a viable career path for your area of expertise, as well as the paths available within Zebra Technologies. You may have to dig a little to discern what options are available, but the open positions and current employee reviews available online will help you establish a framework of roles to work from. In the event you cannot determine the paths available specifically at Zebra Technologies, run a basic Internet search for your area of expertise and compare the career path options to craft an answer that will make sense to your interviewer.
I counsel my career coaching clients to use this question as an opportunity to convince the interviewer that they are interested in becoming a long-term fixture in their organization. An excellent answer should include both a short-term and long-term vision that covers more than one position.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"As a data analyst, I have several options, and I am glad to know many of them are aligned with roles at Zebra Technologies. I would like to start by learning several business verticals and then transitioning to a senior role once my experience level matches the requirements for those positions.
I am unsure if I would ultimately like to move into a managerial role or a solutions architect role, but I feel that working as a data analyst within the teams here at Zebra Technologies would provide me with the experience and knowledge to choose the right path when the time comes."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"The senior software engineer role is an excellent position with a lot of opportunity. I can see myself satisfied with learning the various systems at Zebra Technologies and improving my technical skills in that role for several years. When the time comes, I hope to be promoted to principal software engineer. While I enjoy working as a leader, I prefer to stay directly involved in solution development rather than going down a managerial path."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Communication
11. Would you say you are a better verbal or written communicator?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
The interviewer wants to know how you best communicate in the workplace. While there is no right or wrong answer to a question like this, the interviewer is invested in finding a candidate who can effectively communicate given the requirements and logistics involved for the specific role at Zebra Technologies.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Remember to indicate your strength communicating in the method most applicable to your role. For example, if you are interviewing for a corporate communications specialist who will primarily write content for Zebra Technologies' website, it would be imperative for you to indicate that you are a strong written communicator.
Also, be sure to express your comfort communicating in the opposite format of whatever style you selected as your strength. Most roles at Zebra Technologies require both verbal and written communication skills, so it is helpful to note you can do both despite being strong in one or the other.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"I prefer verbal communication because I feel that, with written communication, a lot can be misread due to lack of tone, fluctuation, expression, and body language. I choose face-to-face conversation whenever possible. Despite my preference, I am a strong written communicator, and I feel confident I can meet the communication requirements for the role if hired for the open position."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"I am a stronger written communicator. I am very technical and communicate best through diagrams, graphics, and concise statements. I appreciate verbal communication and have improved my skills in that area over the years. I am comfortable working in both styles depending on what is best for the situation."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Communication
12. Clear and simple communication is a must-have in our industry. Tell me about your communication skills.
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Zebra Technology job descriptions state that being a part of Zebra means being seen, heard, valued, and respected. Communication skills are the key to creating a work environment where that becomes a reality. Additionally, Zebra Technologies develops advanced solutions that need to be understood by various audiences, including non-technical employees and customers. Interviewers ask this question to identify candidates who can live up to the job's cultural and business-related communication requirements.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Remember to align your answer to this question with the role you are interviewing for, the types of teams you will be working with, and the audience you will be communicating with primarily. For example, a senior manager or director candidate might describe their ability to offer direct feedback. Likewise, entry-level candidates might discuss how their active listening skills help them observe and learn on the job.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"I understand that Zebra Technologies has built a culture of openness where your teams can bounce ideas off each other. My communication style fits well with this. I put a lot of effort into keeping my communication style simple, engaging, and to the point. I enjoy collaborating with my teams and participating in positive brainstorming sessions.
I also spend a lot of time actively listening and picking up on the nonverbal communication of others. I am at a junior level in my career, and there is a lot of valuable information available through observation."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"As a technical manager, I use direct and easy-to-understand language when communicating. I am often asked to translate highly technical concepts to other non-technical leaders or clients, and I leverage figurative language and graphics to explain advanced concepts quickly. I work hard to empathize with others and communicate with patience and care.
I am also direct when working with my teams, but I use an energetic and motivating tone. I let them know I am available to support them and enable them to develop excellent solutions. I am decisive but remain open to suggestions that will help our team. My communication style has worked well for me in the past, and I feel it would be a valuable asset to the team here at Zebra Technologies if hired for the open position."

13. Our industry is competitive. In your opinion, what makes us stand out from our competitors?
Remember To
Remember to include researching how Zebra Technologies ranks against their competitors in your interview preparation activities. Be prepared to talk about their competitive landscape and why Zebra Technologies is a place you want to work. You can keep your answer brief, but be as specific as possible. Show off the research you've done!
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Zebra Technologies is a service company, and their employees are expected to not only understand their products and services but that they understand who their main competitors are. This question is a direct test of your company and industry knowledge.
As an interviewer, I always ask at least one question like this to differentiate between well- and poorly-prepared interview candidates. While a great answer to this type of question is not often a main consideration for identifying top candidates, it is a helpful tool when trying to decide between candidates who were equally matched in other areas.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"When researching the company and several competitors, one of the things that stood out the most to me is how well Zebra Technologies ranked from an employee perspective. For example, Zebra Technology ranks first in overall culture, employee net promoter, diversity, gender, and CEO scoring. I was impressed by that, and it is one of the many reasons I am excited about the possibility of joining the team."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"One of the things that stands out to me about Zebra Technologies is that they listen to their customers and work hard to incorporate their feedback. Customers have indicated a lack of adoption and the ability to fully leverage the technology provided by Zebra in the past. Zebra Technologies has answered that call and are working diligently to offer full-service solution packages, including software, hardware, and professional services that meet the needs of their clients and integrate with their ERP systems. I feel Zebra Technologies will be able to improve the quality of the overall customer experience given this model, and the opportunity for growth in this area is one of the reasons I am looking forward to joining the professional services group at Zebra Technologies if hired for the position."

14. We are proud of the products we develop at Zebra. What can you tell me about our product line?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Product knowledge is a critical aspect of many of the open positions at Zebra Technologies. Interviewers ask questions like these to ensure the candidate they hire is prepared for their interview and well-informed about the products they will work to develop or support.
As a career coach, I always encourage the clients I work with to research the products they will be working with directly in detail. Additionally, I encourage them to be prepared to discuss products outside of their area of expertise conversationally. Showing up to an interview unprepared to discuss or ask questions about the products of a technology company is a recipe for interview disaster in most cases and will likely result in elimination from the interview process.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Remember to prepare several product-related questions to ask your interviewer. For example, you might review the company blog and ask about an article you read about the latest in wearable technology. If you are an engineer or plan to work in a technical role, you can dig into the technology-specific applications you will be working with if hired.
Be sure to match your inquiry to your audience. For example, a detailed question about RFID technology at Zebra may not resonate well with the HR recruiter. You would want to save that for your interview with the technical manager or fellow engineers you would be working with if hired. Zebra Technology interviewees report five or more rounds of interviews in some cases, including HR, technical, and managerial-focused rounds, so be sure to compile a variety of options that best fit your audience.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"The product line at Zebra technologies includes scanners, printers, mobile computers, RFID products, and temperature monitoring solutions. Zebra also offers an extensive suite of software solutions that allow their customers to work with one vendor for a comprehensive solution. I think that is a smart business model, and I look forward to supporting Zebra Technologies customers if hired for the open customer support position."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"The product line includes scanning, printing, barcoding, mobile and wearable computers, location detection, robotics, and software solutions. Zebra has an impressive portfolio in each of these areas.
The extensive product line here at Zebra Technologies is the main reason I am so excited about the possibility of joining the team. I have extensive experience working with scanning and warehousing technology solutions, and I want to extend my skills by working with healthcare solutions. I would love to ask a few questions about the new CS60-HC companion scanner if time allows."

15. What do you think our biggest business challenge is and how will you help?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Zebra Technologies must be excellent in multiple categories to maintain its position as a top provider within their industry, and the interviewer wants to test your understanding of this concept.
This question requires research on Zebra Technologies, its business goals, and the competitive landscape. An interviewer who asks questions like these uses them to identify candidates who are thoroughly prepared for their interview.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Remember to relate your answer to the work you will be doing for Zebra Technologies if hired. One of the most important traits I look for when interviewing IT professionals is the ability to understand the big-picture perspective and apply the related concepts. Strategic and theoretic thinking is incredibly valuable, but the value is only realized when it can be translated and executed practically on a tactical level. There are several suitable ways to do this for any given role, so get creative and show your interviewer you can use both sides of your brain effectively!
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"In my opinion, the biggest challenge any large information technology provider faces is developing secure solutions in a cloud-based environment. All major companies want to do business with technology companies with superb reputations for protecting their information. 16. We are passionate about delivering best in class solutions to our customers across a wide variety of industries. Can you name some of our customers?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Product and service-based companies rely on strong client relationships. This is the case for Zebra Technologies, as they develop mission-critical technology and workflow solutions for clients across several industries.
Interviewers at Zebra Technologies ask questions like these to ensure the candidate they hire is prepared for their interview and is well-informed about the customers they will work with directly or support indirectly if hired.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Remember to thoroughly research the customers for the product line you will work on if hired. Your interviewer will expect you to be able to name several of their notable clients in this area if this question is asked.
You can easily find this information within the 'Success Stories' section of the Zebra Technologies website, as well as within the results of a simple Internet search. Your ability to list several companies by name is especially important if you plan to work in a customer-focused role such as product management, customer support, or marketing. Your chances of a successful interview are even higher if you can name a Zebra Technologies client that you have personal experience working with or have passion for as a consumer.

Entry Level Example
"Yes. I read several of the latest success stories on your website before my interview. I was impressed at the number of top-tier clients Zebra Technologies supports. For example, Zebra works with companies such as Lowes, Office Depot, Fanatics, and Vera Bradley within the retail industry. They all offer such different product lines, but Zebra Technologies can meet their needs."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023

My background lies in product management within the healthcare industry, and I noticed that Zebra works with Siemens, Carol Pharmacies, RedBite, Swiss Medical Group, and several local health centers. I have experience working with Siemens and would love to work with important clients like these if offered the Senior Product Management position."

17. We are always looking for new ways to improve services. Do you have any suggestions for us?
Remember To
Remember to offer a thoughtful and positive response. Speaking negatively about Zebra Technologies without any constructive feedback is the worst thing you could do here. If you have a suggestion, keep it light, and close your answer on a complimentary note.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
There are several motivations an interviewer may have for asking this question. Here are a few common reasons:
1. The interviewer may be genuinely interested in your feedback. For example, you may have previously worked for a competitor of Zebra Technologies that excels in your area of expertise. In this case, your interviewer wants to know what improvement opportunities you can bring to the team if hired.
2. The interviewer wants to test your ability to answer uncomfortable questions under pressure. Questions like these often make candidates feel uneasy. Candidates who work in high-pressure or customer-facing roles must demonstrate their ability to offer constructive feedback gracefully and respectfully.
3. The interviewer wants to test your integrity. Some interviewers use their intuitive skill sets to sense when the candidate they are interviewing is lying. Questions like these test a candidate's ability to answer authentically.
Regardless of the motivation, answer this question respectfully. In my experience, the best answers included a humble and genuine suggestions for improvement.

Entry Level Example
"I appreciate all of the hard work Zebra Technologies puts into the services and other creative solutions. They are feature-rich and valuable to the people who use them every day. We used Zebra Technology handheld devices in my last retail job, and I was able to answer customer inquiries about products and inventory quickly and without having to travel to a workstation.
I did notice that several of my co-workers were not trained very well on how to use the devices. They would have been more successful if they understood how helpful they were. I realize that end-user training responsibilities are handled differently in many cases and are sometimes out of the hands of Zebra Technologies, but it might be worth reminding Zebra partners that retail turnover rates are high and repeat training may be necessary in some cases. I look forward to working with the customer services team here at Zebra Technologies if hired. I would appreciate the chance to help others do their jobs more easily by teaching them about the tools available to them."

I know that is a focus of the business transformation strategy for Zebra Technologies, and it is the main reason I am excited about interviewing for the solution architect role. I have been working as a consultant focusing primarily on cloud-based solutions for over a decade, and I feel my experience directly aligns with the improvements Zebra is actively investing in."

Creative Thinking
18. Tell me about a project you worked on where a conventional approach was not suitable.
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Companies like Zebra Technologies thrive on creativity. Specifically, Zebra Technologies is looking to hire 'changemakers and innovators.' They look for these qualities in every candidate they hire, regardless of the position. The interviewer wants to know if you can use outside-of-the-box thinking in a workplace setting.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
While your interviewer does not expect to spend your entire interview discussing the details of your project, you need to provide the details of the situation. Remember to include context information within your response. This will help your interviewer understand the problem or opportunity and the effect you had by taking an unconventional approach.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"We were assigned a client in our computing and media class in college and asked to develop a plan to help them improve their marketing through social media integration. Our client wanted to automate Twitter posts based on the content they posted on the Facebook page. While that option was available, I convinced them to consider Snapchat as a viable option. The user base for Snapchat was in better alignment with their target market, and I felt the results would be better if we focused our efforts there.
We developed a basic proof of concept during our class, and the company officially invested in this strategy. I was glad to know my research and app knowledge helped them to improve their business using an approach they considered to be unconventional."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"There were a lot of unconventional moments in my company within the last few years due to the pandemic. I managed a customer support team that was suddenly working remotely and was no longer able to walk through our floor to check in with my team. I noticed that incident resolution time increased in certain categories, and I knew I needed to uncover the cause and get us back on track quickly. I held a meeting with my staff to discuss the issues, and we uncovered several opportunities for improvement.
For example, they had to actively switch screens to see our open incident dashboard. Top priority issues that needed senior-level assistance weren't always noticed and took longer than necessary to resolve. I immediately sent additional equipment to my senior incident managers to make sure they had an additional display available in their home offices. This helped replicate the environment they were used to, and our resolution time improved. The solution was unconventional and uncharted for our group, but I did what needed to be done to deliver the service our customers were used to."

19. Do you have any questions for me about this role or working for Zebra?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
I ask this question at the end of every interview, and I appreciate candidates who do not end our time together with 'no, I think you answered everything during the interview.' This is a huge wasted opportunity!
When the interviewer asks if you have any questions, you should always have at least one. By asking a question, big or small, you are showing the interviewer that you have insight and a thoughtful character and are engaged in the process.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Remember to direct questions about compensation, days off, sick days, benefits, or the like to the recruiter or HR representative. You can even send those types of questions through a follow-up email. Your time with your interviewer is valuable, and you should make the most of it. Your question should be specific and related to the work you will be doing, the team you will work with, or the customers you will serve if hired.
Also, remember that interviewers discuss the candidates they met with after each round of interviews. You may enhance your chances of impressing the group if you ask a custom question in each interview aligned with the specific material discussed in each interview.

Entry Level Example

20. If you are hired, you may become privy to trade secrets and confidential information. Are you willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
The interviewer would like to know that you are willing to comply with their non-disclosure requirements before you start working for Zebra Technologies. Your willingness to sign a non-disclosure agreement will tell the interviewer that you are not looking for a short-term employment situation where you can be frivolous with the knowledge that you gain. This question is asked to eliminate candidates who cannot meet this requirement.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
I always encourage my clients to follow the interview process through to an offer if possible. Even if you aren't sure you are willing to sign a non-disclosure, this question does not have to be the end of your discussions with Zebra Technologies. Remember to simply state your openness to reviewing the agreement if you are not comfortable agreeing to sign a non-disclosure immediately. Offering that response will keep the conversation going until you decide whether or not Zebra Technologies is the right company for you.

22. Why do you want to work for Zebra Technologies?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
When interviewing, I am disappointed in candidates that answer this question generically. For example, 'I want to work here because XYZ is a great company with a great reputation.' lacks substance and could be a fit for many companies. Memorable candidates say something genuine and specific that gives me confidence the candidate would be proud to work with us long-term. Interviewers at Zebra Technologies ask this question for the same reason.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Remember to thoroughly research Zebra Technologies and include a reason in your response that demonstrates your company knowledge. This question is an opportunity to convince your interviewer that you want to be a part of their team; make the most of it.

I am also impressed with Zebra Technologies' social impact on the world. I learned about the Zebra Nation before our interview and read articles about how Zebra employees give back. Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Education requirements at Zebra Technologies vary by role and location. You likely have your post-secondary experience listed on your resume; however, the interviewer would like additional details on how you have furthered your education.

Experience
24. We seek employees with a strong understanding of the computer, IT, and electronics industry. Walk me through your background and highlight your most relevant experience.
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
As an interviewer, I can identify candidates with a strong technology background. However, I realize resumes do not tell the entire story, and there may be relevant experience details that deserve a deeper dive. This is especially true of candidates who have not provided a cover letter or a resume specific to the role they are interviewing for.
In addition to uncovering the depth of your experience, this question will also show your interviewer that you understand the job description and requirements of the role. Interviewers value candidates who make this connection during an interview by clearly relating the requirements of the role to relevant and impactful projects they have worked on in the past.

25. We are in the process of transitioning several of our services to the cloud. Can you describe your experience working with cloud-based technology?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Zebra Technologies is currently focused on ensuring they deliver the most flexible and intelligently architected solutions possible. In a recent CIO.com article, the CIO of Zebra Technologies discussed the IT initiatives driving business transformation at Zebra Technologies. Transitioning to a cloud-based enterprise resource planning system and infrastructure topped his list. Questions like these are asked in an interview to identify candidates with experience working with the transformational technologies Zebra Technologies is investing in.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Remember to research the cloud-based technologies mentioned within the job description if you are interviewing for a technical role. I found it frustrating when interviewing technologists who could not speak to the basics of the highlighted technology requirements for the roles they sought. I did not expect them to be experts with my company's exact solutions, but I valued candidates who understood the function of each solution and spoke to their experience working with similar technology.

26. We like to develop Subject Matter Experts (SME's) in multiple fields. If you could sum up your knowledge to one area of expertise, what would it be?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Zebra Technologies has a long track record of offering best-in-class solutions to its customers. They thrive due to the innovative and strategic minds of their employees, who develop their technology and define the best way to implement them on behalf of their customers. Subject matter expertise is required across a wide range of knowledge domains to succeed. The interviewer wants to know where your specific areas of expertise might fit into the big picture.
Think about times in the recent past when your manager or co-workers have come to you for answers. Do you seem to have the answers regarding a particular subject? Perhaps you just completed additional education or certification in a specific area. Discuss an area where you think you bring above-average industry knowledge.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Remember that your best approach to answering a question like this is to select an area of expertise directly applicable to the role you are interviewing for or a specific product or service Zebra Technologies offers. While you may have other areas of subject matter expertise, relating your response to a domain that aligns with the value stream of Zebra Technologies, such as logistics, ERP implementations, customer service skills, etc., will improve your chances of a successful interview.

In college, I worked part-time as a help desk technician for a telecommunications company. My manager frequently assigned me tickets with repeat clients or those who were threatening to end their contracts. I was officially given the title of account retention specialist six months ago, and my co-workers come to me frequently for advice when dealing with difficult situations.
While the financial analyst role is not a role that will work directly with the customers at Zebra Technologies, the person who is hired will provide a service to their fellow employees. I feel that I can apply my customer service expertise in several ways, including the use of active listening, requirements gathering, and the development of creative solutions. I will approach the role with the same level of care and excellence that I do in my current position."

I know how to develop strategic plans that are right-sized and align with the business goals for the initiative and the future. I have become the go-to person when the big picture is unclear, and I feel confident I can work with the customers of Zebra Technologies to provide the same level of expertise and excellence."

Leadership
27. Do you demonstrate leadership qualities even when you are not in a leadership role?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
This question challenges you to think about how you act as a leader in your daily life. Even if you're not leading a team, you can still demonstrate the qualities of a leader! Interviewers ask this question to identify candidates who are ready to lead, irrespective of their title or role within a team.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Review common leadership behaviors before an interview. Leadership questions are a missed opportunity for many of my clients because they are unaware of how many of their actions are related to their ability to lead.
Think of how you have demonstrated the following: coaching, inspiration, service, decision-making, motivating, pacesetting, mentoring, teaching, etcetera, and provide a brief example of how you used the skill.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"I naturally take on a leader and mentorship role with my coworkers. In one instance, I had a new coworker who was having trouble fitting in. I took her out for lunch and discussed the workplace culture and semantics surrounding the various departments. I wanted her to stay and enjoy her employment with us, so I took on the responsibility of ensuring she was settling in well. I believe there are always leadership opportunities - you just have to keep your eyes open!"
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"Yes. I believe everyone on a team can lead in their own way, and I feel leadership can be projected at all times, even when you are not a formal leader. I have taken several leadership courses and invested time in learning how to customize my approach to match the team I am working with. I enjoy developing talent and helping everyone I work with feel comfortable leading in the way best suited for them."

Problem Solving
28. At Zebra Technologies, we seek to hire problem solvers. When were you able to resolve a workplace-related problem?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Problem-solving and dispute resolution are critical skills to possess. Your interviewer wants to know that you can problem-solve within the workplace and that you will do so at Zebra Technologies.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Remember to consider times when you improved performance. Coming up with ideas to increase productivity and efficiency and save time and energy is a great way to make an impact on your coworkers and the company. The ability to see problems before they become problems is a skill that can make you an essential asset to a company.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"One of the product development concepts I learned in college was continual improvement. Processes are fluid and small changes can reduce waste and improve performance. I try to look at anything I do in the workplace through that lens so that we can improve our processes before they become problems. I reflect weekly to think about what I could improve or what I have observed others doing well that I could incorporate into my approach.
For example, I asked if I could be included on my team's daily status call when I was an intern. I was not originally invited, but I was often asked to take on tasks discussed in the meeting. My teammates would then have to bring me up to speed on what was discussed.
The process was inefficient, and attending the meetings sped things up a lot. I was able to stay in the loop and regularly offered to take on tasks that I knew I could handle. I took notes for the team, and they also found that helpful."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"In my most recent position, we had a consistent problem with employees arriving late for their shifts or calling in sick at the last moment. Rather than writeups and reprimands, I decided to work with our management team to develop a reward system.
We offered shift preference, time off, and monetary rewards for various attendance and accountability achievements. The rewards cost much less than the lowered productivity due to absent employees. The program was a success, and upper management chose to keep it implemented for another six months. We will re-assess in December, but it seems to be working very well."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Problem Solving
29. What makes you a great problem solver?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Employers want to know that you have a methodical approach to problem-solving. Consider the skills and qualities that help you successfully face issues. Perhaps you have a keen eye for detail. Maybe you have the ability to see opportunity when others can only focus on the problem. Your interviewer wants to know how the skills you bring to the table align with the responsibilities of the role and the needs of the teams you will be working in.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Remember to review the job description thoroughly prior to your interview. Your ability to recall and use keywords from the job description can assist you in making it past phone screen and initial interviews. For example, a senior engineer position might mention that you have the ability to see the 'big picture'. Mentioning your ability to think in big picture terms as a problem-solving skill you can offer would be a great way to improve your chances of a successful interview.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"I am a great problem solver because I am very analytically minded. I will walk through each step to a problem so that I can properly calculate any available options."
Experienced Example

Salary
30. What is your current salary?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
A potential employer will often base their offer on your current salary. You should be transparent about your most recent earnings and be prepared to back up any salary requests.
Remember To
Remember to include any allowances, bonuses, or significant rewards such as high percentage 401k matches within your answer. It can be helpful to give the interviewer a sense of the total value you would need to receive to match your current reward scale. If you provide these details, break them down so the interviewer can understand the difference between your base salary and other benefits.
When working with clients who are confused about what to expect, I encourage them to reach out quietly within their network to see if anyone they know works at the company they are interviewing with. Insiders may be able to access the salary range information for the role and provide helpful benefits information. Also, several states are now required by law to disclose the salary range for open positions. I encourage my clients to run a position search in those states to see if there is a similar role open that provides the information they need.

31. Do you think it is possible to be a good team member, yet disagree with the leader?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
The interviewer wants to know that you can be diplomatic in the workplace, even when you may not agree with your leader. Show the interviewer that you can be a good team member yet disagree with the leader from time to time.

Remember To
Remember to explain that you believe everyone is entitled to their professional opinion yet capable of maintaining respect for each other. Candidates that can show empathy and humility in their approach to handling this type of conflict impressed me when I was interviewing candidates I would be working with as a leader. It was important to me to identify team members who would be willing to share their ideas openly in a healthy way.

32. How have you developed relationships with your teammates in the past?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
This question is included in an interview to identify candidates that are a match for the team culture at Zebra Technologies. The interviewer wants to know your strategy for learning about your teammates and developing relationships that will help you effectively collaborate on the products you will develop together.
Almost any professional role will require you to work in a team setting at some point. Fortunately, many employees at Zebra Technologies have noted their teammates as one of the top reasons they enjoy working for the company. You are likely to find anonymous employee reviews that include phrases such as 'people friendly,' 'awesome co-workers,' 'great culture,' and 'helpful and smart' when conducting your company research before your interview.

Remember To
The ability to connect well with others contributes directly to the development of healthy team dynamics, success, and workplace satisfaction. When interviewing, I commonly test each candidate's ability to provide honest and relatable answers to questions like these under pressure. Skillful and relatable answers boost my confidence the candidate will be able to quickly become a valued part of the team if hired.
Remember to include a specific and personal example within your response. For example, you might describe a time when you organized an event or offered to help a coworker who was in a tough spot. Recalling a time you demonstrated an advanced team-based skill will make a memorable impression on any potential teammates you might interview with at Zebra Technologies.

Entry Level Example
"I have connected with my teammates in the past by learning about them personally and professionally, spending time together outside of work, and offering to assist others in need. For example, I most recently worked as an assistant manager in a retail outlet while in college. I frequently invited my coworkers to join me for meals and offered to pick up shifts or stay late when they had scheduling or other personal conflicts. I found that taking time to get to know my coworkers and offer help when needed helped us pull together as a strong team. We were the number one store in our region for the three years I worked there.
I was very impressed with what your current and former employees have shared online about the team culture at Zebra Technologies. I value teamwork and am eager to work in a healthy and positive environment. I look forward to adding to the teams here if hired."

Experienced Example
"I enjoy working in a team setting and connecting with my coworkers. I have used several techniques to develop relationships and customize my approach to match the specific team and individuals I am working with. For example, I currently work in a remote setting, and I noticed that our team wasn't collaborating effectively. We discussed it in a retrospective meeting, and we all agreed that spending time learning about each other would help us to be more successful.
I volunteered to organize a series of team-building events. I met with each team member and asked them about their professional backgrounds and personal life. We met as a team every month, and I shared some of the things I learned about the person. We then did an activity together in honor of something our teammate enjoyed. We ate food from various cultures, watched a movie together, toured a museum online, and learned how to sketch cartoon characters. It was a fun way to get to know more about each other, and we found it made a huge difference in our ability to share ideas, trust each other, and successfully deliver our product."

33. We have a strong team culture at Zebra. How do you like to encourage ideas in others?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
Every job description at Zebra Technologies states that 'being a part of Zebra means being seen, heard, valued, and respected.' Working in an environment where ideas are encouraged is a key aspect of the Zebra Nation culture. Your interviewer wants to know how you plan to support your teammates in their work to develop the innovative solutions Zebra Technologies is known for.

Remember To
Remember to mention any methods you are familiar with to generate ideas, such as the facilitation of brainstorming sessions or other strategic thinking methodologies. Interviewers value candidates who have experience working with best practices in addition to their own methods.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"I encourage ideas through my open and accepting approach to working with others. I am a good listener, and people seem comfortable discussing their ideas with me. I offer thoughtful feedback to help them advance their ideas when appropriate."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"As a technical program manager, I encourage others by creating a safe space for my teammates to think and share ideas. We have developed a nurturing culture that recognizes that the only dumb ideas are those you are afraid to share. All options are welcome because they might lead someone to the best idea possible.
I use several brainstorming exercises to help get things flowing and create a comfortable and playful physical environment that encourages creativity. For example, the space for my current team has beanbags, toys, snacks, whiteboards, markers, motivational quotes, a lot of light, and other things that set the stage for a comfortable and fun environment to develop ideas."

Tough
34. Have you ever taken the fall for a situation that was not your fault in order to protect a coworker?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
This is a challenging question aimed at testing your values and your ability to learn from any past mistakes you have made. It is difficult to know what kind of answer will resonate best with your interviewer, but they will likely appreciate an authentic and thoughtful response.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
Remember to share what you learned if you took the blame for an issue in the past and regret your role in the situation. Interviewers are human and understand that everyone makes mistakes. The important thing is to demonstrate growth and your ability to discern the correct approach in the future if you are hired for the role at Zebra Technologies.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Entry Level Example
"No. I have never been put in a position to take the fall for a coworker. I would not be comfortable accepting blame for a situation that was not my fault, but I would be fully supportive of helping my coworker resolve the situation as best as possible."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"I do not believe in 'taking the fall' for people to protect them. I have learned that transparency is always a good idea. If something goes wrong, it needs to be addressed to prevent it from happening again.
When it comes to clients, I have been accountable on behalf of my company for errors. I feel that is a more professional response than blaming specific individuals. Likewise, I have been accountable for team-based issues. As a manager, I take a 'the buck stops here' approach. I realize that, on some level, any team issue is my responsibility. I own the failure and then work diligently with my team to address the root causes. I am prepared to demonstrate the same level of integrity and accountability here at Zebra Technologies."

35. We value honesty at Zebra Technologies. Do you think honesty is always the best policy?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
This question is a direct test of your integrity. Not only is your interviewer looking for an honest answer, but they are also looking for an answer that resonates with the Zebra Nation culture. While philosophical questions may feel like a bit of a trap, most interviewers who ask questions like these have a genuine interest in getting to know more about your values before extending an offer.
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Remember To
The number one question I am asked by almost every client I have coached is, 'should I lie in an interview if I am asked a tough question?' None of them lacked integrity, but they understood they needed to make the best impression possible. They knew questions like these might come up, and they wanted guidance on how to navigate tricky situations.
I always give the same advice. I tell them that there are interviewers who either won't notice or won't care if they do not answer truthfully. However, just as many interviewers will be highly offended by the candidate who lies or answers inauthentically. I advise them to find a way that honors their truth while painting their position in the best light possible. Remember to do the same in your interview because an intuitive interviewer will sense deception easily whether you are talking by phone, video, or in person. Be yourself, but be a polished version that answers anyone would struggle to reject.

Entry Level Example
"I believe in authenticity, trust, and integrity and appreciate when others share similar values. I try to share the truth in a way that is considerate and appropriate for the situation."
Written by Karrie Day on January 11th, 2023
Experienced Example
"I always believe in being honest when asked a question or when withholding information will harm a relationship. However, I do not believe that individuals are required to be honest about their thoughts or feelings when they are not asked about them. For example, as a senior product manager, I work with clients that my teams feel are very demanding in some cases. I do not openly share that feedback with my clients unless they ask. Instead, I find creative ways to help them prioritize their needs in a way that can work with my team's schedule. I find taking a proactive and positive approach in a situation like that is better than offering feedback that may damage a client relationship."
