The size, global scale, and diversity of BP, suggest there are opportunities available for relocating and travel, and for working remotely. "bp is a global organization and each one of our locations is unique. It's worth following us on Instagram @life.at.bp and Facebook a href"www.facebook.com/bpcareers"www.facebook.com/bpcareers/a, where you will find a range of photos celebrating our culture, colleagues, and careers around the globe."
They also advertise flexible work options. "At bp, we recognize that there is no one standard flexible working policy that will suit every individual. As a result, we have developed a comprehensive range of agile working options based on some core principles which vary across each of the countries in which we operate. We are open to discussing these with you once you have reached the face-to-face interview stage of the recruitment process, and these discussions will be very much role dependent and location dependent.

This question is designed to assess your self-awareness and your ability to identify what ideal conditions help yield your finest performance and results. It will also evaluate how consistent the environment you chose to perform your interview in is with what you describe. "Video interviews are a great way for us to get to know you. They give you the flexibility to be interviewed remotely anywhere, on any device, and allow you to tailor your responses and tell us your story and why you are interested in joining bp."
On their website, BP advises that "your environment does matter. Be in the right place. Find a quiet spot somewhere with no distractions, to give yourself the best chance, you need to be focused on the task at hand. Make sure you are in a quiet, distraction-free environment. Choose a well-lit room with minimal visual or auditory distractions. Your background should be clean and professional in nature so the recruiter's focus can be on you during your recordings and not the things going on around you."
HireVue also offers similar advice: "Virtual interviewing is similar to the video calls many of us have been using. Since you can interview from anywhere, make sure it's somewhere you're comfortable. Pick a spot free from distractions and noise. Ensure you've got the strongest Wi-Fi signal possible. And don't forget to check your lighting. Make sure it's in front of you. Lighting from behind makes it hard to see you. Just be natural! Get comfortable and be confident in yourself."

When answering this question, you want to answer this question honestly, suggesting your adaptability, while showcasing accurate expectations of what they have to offer at BP. If the working conditions aren't ideal, and you don't see yourself flourishing in their environment, don't try to be something you think they're looking for. "It's a two-way process. It's as much for you to find out about bp, as for us to find out about you." Keep your answer simple and concise, and be true to yourself.

"While I can adapt and work in any environment, I prefer to work in a creative and engaging flex workspace. I have spent time researching and determining the conditions that optimize my productivity and maintain my laser focus. In my home office, I have everything at my fingertips. I have my Apple Home Pod minis playing forest birdsong while I work and classical music as well, or, rather, music without words. Studies have proven this optimizes focus and productivity, which is great for avoiding task switching."
