How to Answer
The candidate can respond by offering a reasonable benefit they would like to receive, other than medical expenses offered by the company. Some benefits reporters may receive include makeup and clothing money, a gym membership, a gas card, or free office supplies. These are benefits that are required for the reporter to do their job, and the hiring manager should be able to negotiate reasonable terms so that the candidate will be more interested in taking the job.
