"I have had a great deal of laboratory documentation training. Each company usually reviews its requirements during new hire orientation but it is generally similar across the board. I know that documentation must be recorded in real-time and must be recorded accurately. I know that I cannot take any documentation out of the lab and that all data must be recorded while the testing is being performed. I also know how to properly correct errors in documentation so that the data is not invalidated."
