"It has been a goal of mine to move into a scientist role at some point but I know that I need to be prepared for that role and to work more independently. I do believe that my skillset has grown immensely since graduating and I know that if I continue to work hard I will get there. I had taken steps and enrolled in my current company's mentorship program which has allowed me to work alongside higher-level scientists and it has really prepared me for what my responsibilities will be when I am ready for a more independent role."

My main goal was to use and enhance my skills in the field for which I had studied for five years and earned a bachelor's degree. To achieve this goal, I learned German and did an internship in a laboratory in Germany, which was very useful, and I entered the job market. I started working part-time and gained valuable experience. However, my long-term goal is to secure full-time employment in my field, and I am actively seeking opportunities to achieve this goal.
