At times, you may be required to work with others as part of a group project. The interviewer is attempting to determine what you are most comfortable taking ownership of when completing group work. Some individuals take on the role of a facilitator, some are comfortable leading the group, some are more comfortable completing the research, and others may enjoy being in charge of the documentation.
Think about times that you have worked as part of a team on a project. Discuss what your main focus generally is during the group work. Maybe you are required to run testing, or complete all preparation work. Maybe you make sure that everyone keeps on task or maybe you present the project to others once it is complete. Whatever role you typically are responsible for, talk about that now. Discuss why you feel most comfortable completing that piece of the project.
