Think about your prior safety training. Think about what you have been trained to do in the event that a hazardous chemical was to spill in the laboratory. Talk about what steps you would take to alert your teammates, and your management team, and how you would go about making sure that the spill was properly cleaned up and any risk was eliminated.

"If a hazardous chemical were to spill in my work area, I would alert my team and management team immediately so that if they needed to evacuate they could do so immediately. I would then dial 111 which alerts our safety team and they would come and clean up the spill and determine if it was safe to have staff enter the area to continue working. I am also trained to clean up hazardous spills if there is not a safety team available."
