As an example, I recently took a two week online course called Advanced Bookkeeping where I learned new skills related to inventory accounting. Since your organization is a retailer, I believe I could use the knowledge obtained from this course in the bookkeeper role. Once in the role, I would also seek out continuing education that allows me to apply skills acquired to help the organization."
I am a CPA with over 12 years of bookkeeping experience.
Bookkeeping is truly my passion. I enjoy the work I do so I am always trying to learn new skills. Once a year I attend an accounting seminar to learn new laws and procedures. In my spare time I use an app called Becker CPA. It keeps me updated with random accounting facts throughout the day.
