What is your greatest weakness?

This is another commonly asked question during interviews. This question is asked because the interviewer wants to see if you are humble enough to realize your weakness and honest enough to share it. Describe how you have identified a weakness and the steps you are taking to turn that weakness into a strength. Be sure your weakness applies to the job of an Activities Assistant.

"My greatest weakness is remembering residents' names. My current place of employment has over 300 residents, and I find that I keep confusing people's names. I realized this was a problem in my line of work, so I bought a book on memory association. It came with a workbook and daily exercises to complete. In the two weeks since I have had the book, I have found it easier to place a person's face with their name. By the time I am done with the book and the exercises, I believe this will not be a weakness anymore."
