Your interviewer may occasionally pose questions that seem similarly phrased but have distinct meanings. How you answer could inform them of your attention to detail, and your communication skills, such as asking clarifying questions and not repeating previous answers. This question primarily aims to distinguish how employing you would be mutually beneficial for them. They know what they can do for your career. Now they want to know what you can do for them, and how you fit the mold of their ideal candidate.

Vanguard's recruiters recommend you practice, practice, practice for your interview until you feel fully prepared for everything that comes your way. They go so far as to recommend you practice a mock interview.
"Prepare for your interview the same way you would for a presentation. Make sure you have thoroughly gathered the right information to share and rehearse your 'speech.' Answer common interview questions in the mirror. Record your interview skills using a webcam. Practice repeatedly. Don't get discouraged if you struggle your first few times. Remember that interviewing is a skill, and like any skill, it takes time to develop and become proficient at it."
"Because my number one core value is integrity. I have a strong moral compass and am always guided by the true North of doing the right thing. I have been told by my peers that I am honest to a fault. But I looked at that as a compliment. I'm not going to make suggestions to my clients that serve others other than them. I want to help guide them and offer the soundest financial advice I possibly can. So, this is why Vanguard should hire me, because my values and sensibilities are aligned with this company's, and I could be counted on to over-deliver in serving my client's needs. Because that is the most rewarding part of the job for me. Doing for others what I would do for myself."
Approach each question displaying humility. Be confident, not arrogant. Choose your words wisely and be vigilantly aware of the message of your answer. Vanguard's recruiters put it this way, "Manners count. Be careful not to inadvertently insult your interviewers when discussing schools, companies, or colleagues. A recruiter recalls the time a candidate described how they were offered a scholarship, but chose not to attend because the college was, 'beneath them.' What they didn't realize was that they were trashing the interviewer's alma mater. Ouch!"
