This question can be delivered in a variety of forms, depending on whether you have worked for one of their competitors or not. In competitive markets, being asked to sign a non-compete or non-disclosure agreement is not all that uncommon. So this question is just as much a test of your integrity, determining if you have any conflicts of interest as it is a test of willingness to sign and adhere to such an agreement with them. Be honest and open with the interviewer about any existing restrictions you may have when it comes to working for a competing organization, and your willingness to sign and adhere to such an agreement with them.
