I've found that the best way to avoid this stress is to build a strong plan and foundation of communication from the beginning to ensure that we hold ourselves to the deadlines we've set for ourselves. "I've found that dealing with stressed-out colleagues or clients brings me the most stress when working on a project. However, I've had a lot of practice doing so in previous positions and am confident in my ability to handle others' stress. I find that maintaining a calm demeanor has rubbed off on stressed-out colleagues or clients and we are able to continue working together effectively to get the task at hand done. Furthermore, I learned to use tight deadlines as motivation to work as efficiently as possible. When I am under pressure on the job, I focus on the task at hand and make sure not to get distracted."
