Our industry is a competitive one. Why do you want to work for Cisco?

"I understand that Cisco has some strong competitors but when I was researching new employment opportunities, your company stood out to me for the legacy you've created in building technology to connect people all over the world. This legacy is quite honestly unparalleled. I also have a few professional connections who have worked with Cisco and they had only great things to say about your culture, continuous learning options, and growth opportunities."

"I've been interested in pursuing a career with Cisco for quite some time, but I wanted to further my education and career experience first to become a more competitive applicant for (XYZ) position, which truly is my dream job. I'm most drawn to the inclusive and diverse team environment you've fostered over the years, and I'm excited about the possibility of becoming a part of that team environment. My experience in software engineering and security solutions would allow me to hit the ground running and contribute to the Cisco team and bottom line."
